umm XXR weighs right around there ~21lbs for 18x8.25 and they are not light
I think light will be like some Advans and RPF1's....very light will be TE37/CE28/Wedssports/Motegi Racing etc....

I did try to find the weight on CE28N, coz I know Morgan has the 18x9 and they weight ~15 lbs....but cudnt find it quick enough....so gave some more examples....depending on the offset, the TE37 weighs from 16-17lbs on the 18x9....
and priorities brother ....I am pretty convinced am not gonna put any more $$$ into the car....i just want to finish up the incomplete dash work since last year and call it a day...once the tablet is in there and the ECU is installed am done ....might or might not buy rims
EDIT: your new set is 1000X better than the old one...not saying the old one was bad but the new one is concave and light...exactly how i like my women as well...curvy and light

I dont know exactly how much the wheels weigh, but they don't feel any heavier than my stockies which are 18x8.5 +38 with 245/40. That's fine with me, I mean it's a cast wheel. I'm not expecting super lightness
I got the setup used for $1000 with acceptable tires (but 90% tread left so I'll keep them on there for a while). Had them powdercoated/balanced/mounted for another 450 because the Luminous Yellow from Rays is an AWFUL paint. It fades in the sun after about 6 months.

^^^ Thats a great price buddy....and the wheels look great....
I was looking into it while cross shopping and found that they were cast and hence on the heavy side of the light weight wheels....the name is very misleading though, GRAM LIGHTS should have been Forged and lighter to justify the name and hence the discussion with Jeremy...

^^^ ummm actually its not....
no one ever said 30lb wheels are lights....i bet it all boils down to the money and styling and need....
if you want a cheap, light weight wheel for the track....RPF1 fits the bill well....
if you have more money, then go with TE37/CE28, which are lighter but a lot more $$$
I dont think its as subjective/relative as personal preference

semantics plural of se·man·tics (Noun)
Noun
The branch of linguistics and logic concerned with meaning.
The meaning of a word, phrase, sentence, or text: "such quibbling over semantics may seem petty stuff".
We're discussing if a 15 pound wheel is light or ultra light or super light. Then you gave an example of a wheel that's 17 pounds that's ultra light but could have an offset that could make it 18 pounds which would make it heavier than my wheel...which you said wasn't super duper light. It's semantics and it's silly...
Sorry for the derail!

You know, if you guys were in the gym for the same amount of time you spent bickering, you'd lose more weight than any wheel swap

Haven't been driving the Evo too much since I got my Jeep. All my money and attention has been put into that recently. Big things coming for the Jeep Also I put 13,500 miles on the Evo in 6 months so I have to give a break for a little bit.
Back in September I had the chance to get the Evo on a dyno at local shop's Dyno Day. 2 pulls for 20 bucks. Not bad. Little did I know it would be a heartbreaker Dyno Dynamics
Pulled 303whp, 320wtq. Only a Cobb OTS map. Was told it should be around 330whp on a Dynojet. I have to install the boost guage, wideband o2, a-pillar mount, EBCS, and get a proper dyno tune in the Spring.
Onto the pics...
