they are similar to the RG2 but without the Advan price. I ordered the Gramlights stickers to further differentiate it

I bought them used actually. They were luminous yellow but it was in really bad condition. Plus I didn't want yellow wheels haha.

Don't get me wrong, the yellow looks amazing when its all fixed up and not faded. But I can't get myself to do it. I'm not looking to attract that much attention haha.

I've noticed

Here's some other stuff I've done but forgot to update this thread.

CF mirror covers

Aftermarket hood struts (no more hood prop )

Also got a CF grill cover but don't have any pics of that yet.

Alright, thanks for the info. Is it worth leasing a car like this? or just save up and flat out buy it?

Buying is always smarter if you're going to be modding it out and with an Evo you're going to be modding it out. I had $20K in the engine of my last one alone.

It's really up to your financial situation. It is cheaper in the long run to buy it from the start versus what I am planning to do, which is lease then buy out. But the advantage with leasing is that if you really end up disliking the car (or the high maintenance costs) you can always return it after two years.

The major reason I leased it is because I'm still young and don't want a high monthly payment yet, but I still want a nice car to drive.

The other indicator is TPMS. My sensors are still in the stock wheels, and the Evo can only accept one set of sensors at a time. Pretty stupid on Mitsu's part considering almost every Evo driver has multiple sets of wheels.

I had the same problem when I had 2 sets of wheels. Found out Walmart will switch them out for only $10 which is only the price for plastic valve stems for the wheels you aren't using.

Damn that's a pretty good deal. But I don't know how I feel about Walmart employees touching my wheels. They would probably use an impact gun on the lug nuts or scratch the powdercoating on tire removal.

Thanks! 2015 should be the next gen. They just got 2014s at the dealerships. No changes except they added a touch screen head unit.

Oh I'm def addicted to the power. I need more now

But also the car is running like poop now because of the heat and its killing the gas mileage. It was 83 degrees in that pic at 10pm with over 75% humidity. It's been reaching 105 during the day

Turbo cars love cold weather. I don't have as much of a heat soak issue as anyone with a top mount intercooler but I still feel it.

Went out the other day with my friend and his Canon D60 (I think). It was definitely a learning experience. We're not 100% happy with the way most of the shots came out but here are a couple of the better ones. Also I think Photobucket killed the quality.

I only use PB to post up DIY pictures from my point and shoot. Flickr for ALL hi res.
Looking awesome, man!
Going to be a helluva part out day when your lease ends!

I dig the gramlights. Are they really NOT lightweight, Anil?
Funny, in theory I appreciate the nice color wheels and all...but I know myself. Within a month I'd feel like the car looks juvenile. It's a phase/fad that I think will eventually go out of style. "remember when we used to rock yellow rims..."
