Why is the 993 the best looking Porsche of all time? Mr. Lagaay sure knew what he was doing.

The engine bay looks really clean without all that stock crap on top... What's that stuff under the rear bumper

TT is a little too much for me, but I'd kill for a ocean blue C2S

my cousin has two porsches, the same as those, both turbo and both black. the last time i was at his shop he just rebuilt a motor on one of them. my dad took it for a drive and it we were doing 150+ like nothing on the highway and we kept going, i know thats bad, but my dad is a very skilled driver and has driven alot of high powered cars including owning alot of high powered cars, and has complete contol of them. the second one he had in there, the engine was out and he was rebuilding that one with larger turbos. this was about 4-5 months ago. but my cousin has alot of toys and classic sports cars and muscle cars. but damn that porsche was fast and road like it was on rails.

I know Corbeau offers leather as an option over the standard cloth, so there are leather race seats out there...

Looks like the factory ac is still intact on this one

993 TT prices are in the 50K-100k range... figure 60-80K for a decent one with "average" mileage... I've actually see higher mileage TT selling for less then a C2S (widebody w/o the turbo)... C2S's are pretty rare and I think there were more TT's sold then CS2's... so HP isn't the only determining factor in prices... Condition, condition, condition, mileage, history and rarity are important factors in porsche pricing.

993 production totals here (from a recent rennlist thread):

Check out the rennlist classifieds... there's a couple of turbos forsale on there:

But the pricing on the waterpumpers are becoming quite attractive (i.e. lower then some of their older aircooled siblings).

Ya, but it's powered by Canon!

Actually, I'd prefer an aircooled porsche myself. Robb's was hot.

It is true that the 996 prices are making them very attractive, but there is nothing that can compare to the sound of a 993 or prior models sucking in air.
