I have no doubt you could make an Elise as much of a track monster as the Exige with few mods.

Daily driver/Chasing Viper through Arkansas protection. You sandblasted the nose of my car.

...bra. It looks more like a unibrow.

Looks awesome minus the bra...go clear bra. I have installed two with no experience and had great results. Just take your time, find a nice clean environment to install, and watch a few videos on install. Three years later and both still look good

Kind of have to agree, but not because of the bra itself. White car, brown top, black bra. Kind of clashes, imo.

Still looking good, though.

I've driven 70k miles in a hair under 3 years + like to drive down twisty roads following cars that like to throw up gravel. That combination reaks havoc on the front of my car. I'm just trying to protect what paint is on there...this is my daily, not some garage queen.

^ Agreed.

It's just like me putting on the front license plate. I know it looks so much cleaner without it, but since I DD my car, I just want to have it on. One less reason to worry about when I go weeeeeeeeeee everyday.

Well, like I said, it's not the bra, it's just the color. But, I know that's not exactly something you can change, so it was just my on the car's immediate look.

Since you're getting the most of it though, more power to you.

Damn, you're going to be flying on Tuesday! Wait isn't today Tuesday? So that stuff is going on the car next Tuesday?

Lower valance looks good but it looks darker than the mesh grill. Thought about doing the grill with that Plastidip stuff as well so they match?

The car is pretty dirty. The Plastidip stuff is awesome for trim pieces. It looks like factory ABS plastic when its dry.

Rick, im getting my car reflashed on Saturday morning at TMS, i'd like to go...especially since last month was so awesome.

Looks great. Have you considered aftermarket wheels? A lightweight, clean-looking set with a lower offset to fill the wheel wells would be a nice improvement IMO.

Its getting close to wheel and tire time.

Its most likely either going to be:

17x9 RPF1, +45 in silver

or

17x9 6ULR, +48 in nickle.

The RPF1 is EXTREMELY common and im not sold on the finish. The 6ULR looks amazing in person. Both setups I'd run with a 235/40 Star Spec. I could do the 255, but I want to do the least amount of fender rolling possible.

235

255

Nice looking car. I feel like the 6UL wheels with their spec design for the Miatas is a better choice and still extremely light-weight, though I am not feeling the 6ULR as much as the original 6UL design.

I like the RPFs better, but it sounds like you're leaning strongly to the 6ULRs. Not like either one looks bad

How much do they weigh? Any idea what you'll be going for as far as tires?

The stock 17x7's are about 17.5lbs.

The 17x9 RPF1's are around 16lbs.

The 17x9 6ULRs are around 17lbs.

With 17x9's, i'd run 235/40 Star Specs.

All of that being said, if I could talk myself into getting 18x9.5, +45 RPF1s, the debate would be over. I think it looks light years better than the 17x9.

I'd run a 245/35/18.

Those look huge. I feel like you would have to run a BBK behind such wheels to fill the space.

They really don't look that big in person. Even with the 285's pictured on the white car.

I prefer the RPF1's...always liked those wheels. You could always pick up my 17's that weigh 14lbs .
