MiniCooper S w/ JCW upgrade

not a bad little car. 207hp/180ftlbs 0-60 6.5, 20/32 MPG. car is about 2500lbs. Ends up being close to 28k but you get heated seats etc.,

Those cars can easily go north of $35k once you put all those options on them. And still no navigation correct? Money is better spent elsewhere.

35k? I priced it out with the upgrade kit etc., and it's 27.5 according to edmunds. Navigation is an option. I think it's actually a pretty good buy. You get a nice little daily driver with decent performance to boot. I'm sure it's a blast to drive. I mean for that much money what else? It's a good blend of sport and comfort. Everything else is either too much of one or the other. I have yet to test drive one but definitely will check it out.

I was pricing it based upon www.mini.com

I had alot of options, but close to what my CL-S has to offer. HIDs, heated mirrors and seats, auto dim mirror, 17" wheels, and the JCW package (which is like $5,000).

I've been in a non S version when I was out testdriving cars, the fun to drive factor is very high, comfort isn't too bad. I'd like to see the performance on a upgraded one. Also, the Tach is attached to the steering wheel, which is annoying when pushing the car. Speedo being in the center makes for an interesting placement of a Navi, if there is one available.
