If it sells, I'll get another S2K.. Or a bike and an S2K.. Or a C6.. Or a Civic.. Or a bus pass. Something!

David, again .. man .. CHILL.
Even if people are offering you 31, 32, 33k ... that doesn't offset the cost in your current mods & Sales tax you paid during purchase. Makes no sense at all
Keep the Mustang, pamper it, and leave the face melting speed for the bikes.
I'm curious, what price is being offered that would make you a fool not to sell it? If people are offering you 36k+, they need their head examined

Yeah I'm a little confused by this as well. I mean it's a great car, don't get me wrong, but it's a GT, not a GT350. Why are so many people interested in it if you're not trying to sell it at a decent price? Just because of the mods you have done? I don't get it. Regardless though, even if you do make some money on it, then what? How does that benefit you unless you get the same exact car and pocket the rest of the money? History says you'll get another car and start throwing mod money at it and not be happy with it and you're back in the same boat again. Not trying to bust your balls, just trying to understand the whole gauging interest in selling it but not really interested in selling it unless you make money on it but then you have to go find another car that might not compare to the Stang. Maybe I'm just old and happy with what I have lol.
I've always wondered what people just walk up to others and drop an offer on their car. I've only had one person ask if I was thinking about selling my S2k but never offered a price for it.

Well, some guy with an Eco-boost offered me $1,300 for my wheel set-up which is more than what I paid for them. I'm thinking about selling these and throwing the stock wheels back on and just cruising on those for a while. I'm all about the cash and if I can use these wheels for two months, bend one and curb another and still get offered more than what I paid for them brand new with tires, I figure why not?
Good idea or bad idea.

Yes, I repaired the bend in passenger front wheel but I think another may be slightly bent as well. Plus some slight rash on the right rear.. And the rears need new tires. So I'd be in about $5-600 after new rear tires and fixing the bend again.
Whereas if I chose to sell those and throw some new rear tires on the stock wheels, I'd be in for $300 or less including an alignment.

Well, I got bored and Craigslisted some 315/35/20's and came across a set for $100 mounted and balanced with 90-day warranty. 20 minute drive and they're not exactly name brand tires, but anything' better than what I'm on right now.
Old tires - 275/35/20. Less than a month and a half old.

Quick peek inside the wheel-wells to see how much expired tread I've got hanging out down there -

New tires - 315/35/20. 80% tread left I'm guessing, at minimum.

It's so beefy that I'm not even sure I like it.
The sad part is that I got aligned two weeks after getting wheels and tires. My camber won't go into spec though. Bleh.
I kind of feel like these are too big right now lol. Maybe it's cause my 255's up front look so small now.

Here's a couple snaps to hold you over till I clean it. I swear I'm the laziest man on earth.

What are you guys opinion on how it looks? It filled up the whee gap almost entirely! I can't even fit a finger in there now.

I just need a camber kit.

No need to worry! My buddies were trying to talk me into throwing one on the rear windows but I'm still enjoying the "clean" look for now.

So, I had a pretty fun Friday night and Saturday morning. My best friend and I attended a Subie meet hosted by San Diego Subarus aka "SDS" at a local shop (shout out to Reese Tuning for hosting) and enjoyed some nachos, cookies and sodas while various Subies hit the Dyno for a couple pulls. I didn't get the chance to take many photos or videos since I was too busy gawking at the Supra they had in the garage as well as stuffing my face but I managed to get a few pictures in.
Subie Meet Friday night 02/12/15 -
2015 WRX -

MK4 Supra - Check that plate out!

Other shop cars - Notice the NSX?

And then we have the loudest car I've ever heard in my life - "TrollBaru"

A few hours after we got home, a couple other friends of mine showed up to the house and we decided it was a good idea to wash our cars this late at night since there zero chance of water spots without the sun glaring down on us. About 01:30am.

Finally, we called it a night around 4:30am and my buddy with the WRX came back in the morning around 09:30am to hit Cars & Coffee with me. Of course I spent 30 minutes going over the car with quick detailer, shining the tires and re-cleaning the wheels.

10:00am rolled around and we decide it was about time to head on over to C&C after I had taken car of some of my car OCD. We arrived at Cars & Coffee around 10:15am and while we had missed most of the crowd, there were still some pretty sick cars to walk around and stare at for the next hour and a half or so.

And finally, we split up and everyone headed back home. Upon arrival, I decided to go over my car once more to clean any road debris, bugs, water spots or excess tire shine that had been splattered onto the car from the tires. I like to apply my tire shine liberally. Haha.

I took some video clips as well which I'll try to piece together and post via YouTube shortly. Sorry for the long post everyone! Enjoy!

People still rip it like that out of meets? There have been so many morons at these meets getting on it too hard mid turn that I'd be a little careful there David!!
One thing Ive learned over the years is that there is a classy way to leave a meet while still giving audio to the onlookers.
That mustang was getting on that yellow C6s ass at the end egging him on. You can still hear that mustang on the gas at the end of the vid. Would have liked to see continued close up video of what happened there at the end. Lol

You know, I planned on leaving in a classy fashion as well but after some yells from on-lookers I had to do a little burn-out before going on my way.
That yellow C6Z would tear that 5.0 a new one! They were all buddies though. I'm sure the Z06 could've left the 5.0 in the dust in the blink of an eye if it really wanted to.. Or if their buddy in the Challenger ahead of them would just get out of the way.

much cheaper than washing at home.
