Got the tires and wheels on.. Holy crap, it looks and feels like a brand new car. I'm gonna let the springs settle for a couple days before I go and get it aligned but jeeeez! I'm in love all over again. Steeda progressive springs on stock struts with InCurve IC-S5 (I believe that's the name) wheels. 20x9 and 20x10.5 with 255/35/20 in the front and 275/35/20 in the rear. Now I'm just eagerly awaiting my tune so I can install my CAI..
Got some sick rolling shots courtesy of one of my local friends and I hope to post them within the next week or so. Hopefully this time I post them right and they look good enough for AZine *cough, cough J*.
Edit: I'm considering getting my fenders rolled for "spirited driving". Had a run with an F10 535i and the whole time I was walking away I was worried about shearing my fenders and turning them into bacon.

And some stock photos for reference. So, this car went from bone stock with 6,6xx miles on it to dropped, bigger wheels and tires, CAI, tune and muffler delete with 8,4xx miles in less than 30 days. Hahaha.
Most recent stock picture

Dec. 11th. The morning after I brought her home, just after getting the muffler delete done. The car was wayyyyy too quiet for a so-called muscle car.

And finally, the night I picked her up featuring my best friend's '15 WRX. December 10th, 2015. Best purchase of my life.

I personally feel that the mods I've done have completely changed the look of the car. It went from being indistinguishable from every other S550 on the road to being unique to me. My buddies know that it's my car now. Haha.
Edit: Some miscellaneous shots within the first couple weeks of ownership.

Showing the car to my younger cousin who recently got into cars. He's looking at picking up an S2000 within the next year or so.

I should avoid this thread...
and threads about V's, S4's, and M3's
Fuck, looks so good with the wheels! I can't believe how much the OEM wheels scream I'm a pansy ass v6 in their styling. The color of your car...sex. Like, sex with anything. Woman, man...animal...pillow case over a bean bag...anything. So gratifying.
I love what you've done so far...keep it up, it'll be perfect for when we trade S for the 5.0!
And wtf...2 car garage on the outside, then 4 car on the inside...that picture where you're parked sideways shows you have 10 feet off to the right. NOICEEEE

Thanks for the compliment on the color as well! I was pretty bummed out initially that I didn't swing a Competition Orange 5.0 but after seeing the Deep Impact Blue in different lighting and seeing how good the wheels "pop" against it, I love it again. As far as the garage, there'd be a lot more space if I would just get around to cleaning and throwing away the stuff we don't need anymore haha. I'm looking forward to the 5.0 for S2K swap, I'm holding you to that! Thanks again, J.

Thanks Kurt, appreciate the kind words.

I adore yours too though...that thing must sound so nice, drive awesome, have all the new bells and whistles.

Thanks J, the 5.0's been good to me so far. We'll see how long I end up keeping it since I'm still in the honeymoon phase.

I honestly don't think I'm anything special, but I do appreciate you saying that, man.
Say...your car is a hatch, right? Like an RSX? Rear seats go flat, hatch opens into it?

Dude, in my blaze orange metallic RSX-S I once brought home two sheets of plywood, 10 2 bys and some 4 bys all in one shot with the hatch open.
I'm HUGE on hatchbacks. That is honestly, a HUGE game changer.

Is there a reason you didnt get the bigger tires like you initially thought you were going to get. You have the same size wheels (idk about offsets) that I have and I was able to get 275/305 with room to spare.
Still looks amazing nonetheless!

I was told by the vendor that the set-up I initially wanted (same as yours) would rub once I was lowered. Are you also on Steeda Progressive's?

I went through Steeda directly for the springs and a local tire and wheel shop for the wheels and tires. They told me I'd rub but now that I think about it, David from Steeda told me I could run a 275/35/20 in the front and a 315/35/20 in the rear.. Oh my gooodnessss, fatter tires.
Thanks for clearing that up with me @McCollins23.
By the way, here's a quick clip of the car rolling. Not my first choice for music, but I was limited to the less than 100 song library I have on my new iPhone.

Something's missing though, can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe some white lettering on the sidewall of the tires and some lighting mods in the front would set it off.

it could!
white lettering...hmmm....no, you're understated right now...maybe look at what roush/steeda come up with in the way of future body kits...
slow down on the modding!

Noted, Chief! Rookie mistake. Haha
Thanks a lot man! Your Focus is looking pretty great too!
Damn, I don't know what to say. That's one hell of an observation and compliment. Thanks a lot man!
I like the understated look the car has but I've got a few decals waiting to be put on that may or may not ruin it. I'll have to post some updated photos when I put them on. I'm moving way too quick on mods. Lol Need to pace myself.
On a side note, I ran an automatic G37 sedan (2011+) and a new-ish Audi A8 last night. The G owner was awesome, his passenger recorded the first pull so I expect it to pop up on YouTube eventually. He and his passengers gave a thumbs up and couldn't stop laughing and smiling afterwards. The A8 owner was more along the lines of a pompous prick that tried to run a fly-by on me and got shut down. Then while I'm slowing down giving him a thumbs up he tries to run another ricer fly-by and gets shut down.. again. Eat dick, fgt.
There's more to it which led me to believe he thought his Audi was the end all be all of performance but I've already written too much.
Next mod: GoPro or knock-off action cam.

yes sir...
i see some crazy numbers too! Only problem usually is the ones that are are rebuilt or hiding some shiettt that are deal breakers for me. Paint work being pristine is a huge one for me.

Car looks amazing already....start focusing on the performance and making it faster

A roof/back window spoiler (like everyone and there mother with a hooked up 3G TL has) might be what's missing on the profile shots.
That 5.0 though.
I have to stop coming to this thread.... But what does it matter someone would probably just text me pictures....
I refuse to take my Explorer to the dealer because I'd be tempted at going to look at a stang...

As far as performance, if Lund would just hurry the hell up with my new tune I'd be in the 11's already!
. Can't install my CAI without a tune unfortunately. She's due for some TLC this week. Oil change, check all fluids, brakes and clutch, wash, alignment and then it'll be time to drive the piss out of her again.

J, you wouldn't happen to be that "someone" that's texting him pictures.. would you?
