Whoah, I missed where you paid 29K. That is an INSANE deal on that car. Wow...
I priced one out for fun...convertible...track package...fkng up at $47K...

Meh...TL is at $0 MSRP right now so I'll probably just stick with that route. The problem for me with picking the mustang is I'd have 2 2 door vehicles since the S stays no matter what...at least with the CTS-V I'd go from Sedan to Sedan or VAGON
Anyway...just thinking out loud since you got my juices flowing #teamonlyalittlehomo

Thanks a lot man, I just got a call back from another Ford dealer saying I got approved for a black on black 2016 base GT with the 6MT. It's the exact same car I own, but 1 model year newer and this one has only 20 miles on the it and it looks like the damn bat mobile. Buttt, then I'd be the guy taking the hit on the depreciation. No thanks. As much as I love black on black, this time blue will just have to do. Plus, I don't believe in an easy break-in period. By 100 miles the car would have probably seen launch control 4-5 times

Thank you! I see that we're both rocking the same blue oval now. I'll be uploading to Flickr in a bit then. I tried Photobucket and Imageshack and they kept timing out on my iPhone.

It's funny, I actually checked off all of my "happy, fast, financially aware" boxes with this car. 1) I fucking love it. 2) It's faster to the finish line than me after trying no fap for a week. 3) Insurance is cheap as heck. 4) Warranty. 5) Helps build my credit. 6) Coyote. 7) 5.0. 8) V8. 9) 5.Bro. 10) 6MT for the 5.Hoes.

I'd say I was being rather mature and planning quite well.

Definitely man, once PQ opens back up!

Get something with a big V8 asap and then send it to San Diego so I can perform some rigorous R&D on it in the form of highway pulls, power slides and bumper to bumper traffic. Don't worry, I'll do my best to make sure your car is every bit as good as the manufacturer intended it to be.

Yeah man, you're right. This Kona-DeepThroat blue is the shit. Now if I could just keep the shit clean. It's 55 degrees out today, better believe I won't be out there freezing just to wash this Ford.

Tyler, you love this forum and all your friends that are on it. Now, with that said, need a ride to go pick up your new 5.0? I heard the premium packages are much nicer than my little base model

Finally, some pictures.. Keep in mind that I am no photographer nor do I know how to edit photos. Lol the only edited ones are courtesy of my friends with their fancy phones. Oh, and I've thrown in some bike photos for the hell of it.

I'm not a fan of the base GT wheels, at all. Maybe with spacers & a drop ... but that's not really an option for me.

The premium wheels look

Whoops. My bad guys, I copied the URL's from the mobile app. Let me see if I can fix it.

Edit: It's not embedding even when I copy the link directly from the site. Ahh well

Nice pickup, you will love it! I love getting in mine every single time after 6 mos. of ownership. Impatience got the best of me when I was buying mine so I ended up spending a little more to get the car I wanted instead of waiting the 3mos to have it built. I stepped it up to a premium with those options and there was one in the same state that I had delivered to the dealership that I bought from.

All in all I'm glad I got what I wanted, that is a lot of money to pay for a car and have regrets. I found a Premium PP with recaros on carmax the other day with 1k on the clock for 7k less than I paid for mine, FML

Now that the 350 came out I am really wanting one of those. I could have got one of those for around 7k more than I paid for mine (if you can even find one without markup). That Avalanche grey is an amazing color!

If you are not on mustang6g yet get on there, it has the same feel as being on here which is why I like it. I am Matt In The Hat on there.

Update: Totaled out by insurance. In the works with a local dealership to pick up a '14 TA Viper they've got.

Sike. . I haven't taken a good look at the damage yet, I know it'll turn me off of the car big time so I just pretend like it's not there. The car's in desperate need of a wash so I'll take before and after photos soon enough. Amazingly enough, the car is still just as fun to drive as it was before the hit. Haha

Damn...I'll give you $19K for it!
Trade you for my 2!?!?

Got some seat time with both recently, damn I love driving each car.

Anyway, glad you're good, man...and that it was totaled and you'll be getting a viper.

Track pack isn't worth it, numerous reviews have said to ditch the track pack unless you track more than you road drive. You can always add aftermarket suspension if you want it.

There, I saved you $2k.

Also, if you sign up for the Mustang club, you can get XPlan pricing. If you're a costco member, you can get their pricing too. Both are often close to employee cost. It's how I got the Jeep (Costco).

If someone offered me a trade for a GT Premium in Kona with 6MT, I'd hand over the keys to the S in a heartbeat.

You shut your mouth. I'd be out in shorts and tshirt washing my car if it was 55 out here.

Sorry to hear about the car man, hope you're ok and the damage isn't too bad.

My company buys fleet from them...I get xplan already.
In addition, being an AMEX user, they offer something similar.

Doesn't track package add the Brembo? I'd want that.

It does but the stock Mustang GT brakes are still standard with 4 piston fronts and are more than adequate for aggressive street driving. The Brembos look cool but IMO, save the cash because the track suspension is rather stiff and uncomfortable.

LOL...I did my research and I appreciate what you'd buy, but the brembo and projector headlights (now standard) would be a must have on my list.

Well, so much for $1,500 budget that I had set aside for mods.. Lol the car's rear bumper is still scarred from the d-bag who rear ended me and tried to flee but on a brighter note, I picked up some 20x9/20x10.5 wheels! So bigger wheels = more rubber. I'll be running a 255 front and 275 rear set-up for now. I plan to go bigger on the next tire set-up (275 front/295+ rears) but for now these should do. My stock Pirellis were toast a couple hundred miles ago with 8k on the clock and I'm not too comfortable riding around with my tire wires showing.

Now I just need to get around to installing my springs to compliment the wheels and finally installing the CAI once my NGuage comes in from Lethal Performance. I've been busy with work so I lagged on submitting the tune Q&A form.

Here's to hoping that with the wheels, drop, muffler delete, CAI and most importantly tune that my 5.0 won't be seeing many tail lights and that'll stand out just a little more in comparison to the plethora of V6 and Ecoboost Mustangs I see running around here!

P.S. - I still can't tell the difference between the two.

Stock brakes have stopped me plenty fast from 155+ to 60ish on the highways of Mexico but I do plan on going more aggressive with the next set-up.
