Mercedes-Benz CLK-63 AMG Black Series - 2008


This car is just out of control. Only 350 of them produced, I was lucky enough to ride in one. HOLY SHIT this thing was nutty. It has a 7 gear tranny, the car would rip through 1&2 gears with barely any traction. And WOW it is LOUD! So if anyone hits the lottery, buy this car! ~500 whp 5-something torque, i think. This particular one is currently the fastest CLK 63 AMG BS N/A in the country with a time of 11.46 @ 123, and a 60' of 1.73 if i remember correctly

Way cooler cars to buy for that kind of money, the only thing it has going for it is exclusivity.

yeah i think 139k is alittle too much, but the interior is pretty well thought out

 

I don't know why, maybe just me, but from rear with these tail lights looks like pontiac G6

 

I saw/heard one in south beach...it was orgasmic to say the least.

They had a black one at my cities auto show last year, no rope or anything around it either so you could walk right up to it. An instant collectors item I'm sure. Anyone lucky enough to own one new should hang onto it.

Yeah I just showed it to a buddy of mine and he at first glance thought it was a Pontiac. I think it's extremely tough though!

 

I was just thinking the same thing...... Now, make the car all black, and then it looks proper.

 

Mercedes have to be black or silver IMO

Even so.....I almost wet my pants at that glorious sound

 

this thing really does handle like a champ too, we took an on ramp with a pretty sharp doing doing 70 with no problem at all. driving it is scary though, because when you floor it, the rear slides all over the place. that is with radial's at the track almost no problem with the slicks.

when we would be driving around, people that were stopped next to us would be like, "holy shit, what the hell this that thing" its pretty cool cause no one really knows what it is, all they know is its loud and fast lol. the only badge it has is the emblem on the back, everything else is taken off

 

That is a seriously pissed-off Benz, sounds killer.

 

yessir it does. honestly the video doesnt really do it justice(videos never do) it sounds so much louder. we did a long burnout with it and tried to record it, about half way through the camera had an error, i forgot what it said exactly, but it basically said "too loud to record" and it shut off

 

sounds nice, but looks are so-so.

 

Nice car, but not a fan of exterior color, tinted tail lights, and chrome wheels on the car. I'll take black or white C63 amg anyday though.
