Been up to some tweaks lately on the 135i but will save that update for later..
Celebrated my birthday two weeks ago and my girlfriend recruited a couple buddies to trick me into going for a shoot while she prepped my surprise party!
Shoot and Birthday both came out well!
Finally got pics together with my friend and shop owner of ATH where all my work gets done.. @[ATH_M2](contact:128294)

Thanks man! I appreciate it!
Got some updated pics.. it has been transformed now!
I let her use it cause its DCT, she doesn't know how to drive the M2! I am trying to find a clean 135i for her also!
Thanks! I know I missed all these reply notifications!

Since I bought the car I thought the paint was in great condition, it seemed to be garage kept and taken care of. Once I started looking closer I noticed it did have many swirl marks and could benefit of some TLC on the paint.
I took delivery of my M2 last year and had contacted a local company close to the Performance Delivery Center to do the XPEL Pain Protective Film on it.
After long research I picked Extreme Colors Auto Spa to work the M2 since they worked all the PPF on the BMW Performance Center cars. I had always wanted to come back and visit South Carolina again since I was only able to spend a day there when I did my M2 PCD.
So after picking up the 135i I started planning a road trip to do some sightseeing at SC and Georgia while the shop worked on my 135i.
Car went thru a full paint correction and a 5 year Ceramic Pro treatment. They also pulled my wheels off and did Ceramic Pro on the entire wheel (face and barrel) and finalized with also doing my calipers.
I thought the car had good paint until I saw how the car looked after finishing it, now I think it was thread worthy since it looks like it rolled off the assembly line.
Dropped the car off on Monday around 9:00am
Got some teaser pics while the process was undergoing and was able to pickup on Wednesday around 4:00pm.
I can’t get over how much better it looks now!

Well the thing is that the M2 looks more aggressive from every possible corner! Such a wide stance and the arches make it look like it has a wide body on it while the 1 series looks smaller and shrunken down.
Dimensions on the M2 are the same as an M4 in width and 8” shorter in length so it’s much bigger than the 135i making it also look bulky in comparison.

We need to plan that Kayak thing so you guys can head up and stay a weekend!
Thanks!! I will try to keep this updated, I need to show that not all BMW owners are douches.. yesterday I had the blinkers coded from 3 to 6 times. I do use blinkers in these cars

I have an M3, but I'm a douche... so I'm likely not doing my part. Thanks for carrying the torch

I'm too protective of my car to not use signals; I want all around me to yield when I am changing lanes. Sorry, too douchey?

Thanks! The 135i has AFEPower drop in filter, VRSF Intercooler, VRSF Downpipe, M Performance Exhaust, Eibach Pro Kit, the APEX wheels and some carbon diffuser and splitter for aesthetics.
I will try to hold the torche and take one for the team!
Depending on the chassis its easy or not. The M2 is a piece of cake with an adapter and an App I purchased couple clicks on the phone.
On the 135i its a bit more entailed since you need to go thru full coding since the App available doesnt offer all features. But anyone can perform it remotely like they did with mine yesterday.
Wait, wait, wait...this is possible? Is it easy to do? Yes, the 3 blinks only get half of my car into the next lane - I have to hit it twice manually or fully click-in then turn off my signal which is annoying.

Not sure if they will roll out a GC of it. I do think it might look weird lol
Well, do you still have the Audi? Imagine if you place your ass in a newer european.. it will be hard to go back..
I'm sad Acura didn't roll out anything nicer. I don't like the TLX and the NSX is prohibitive. I would get a 911 at that point.

I read that same article. They preferred the 228i over the M235i; the M2 wasn't out yet. They liked the 228i better because it was lighter and they were driving on some very twisty roads. They didn't seem to think the mild M treatment of the more powerful car was really worth it, IIRC.
