Got the package Friday but they delivered at my apartments office and I came in late so picked up yesterday morning.. But was on my way to Orlando Speed World that they had a really big drag event..
Gonna install the Koni's next weekend, got a buddy visiting to give me a hand with the install

Never had used this while the car was in Puerto Rico xD
Well got some wrenching in yesterday..
Removing seat to access rear shocks..
OEMs had over 100k on them and suprisingly they still look new, no signs of blowouts..
Eibach's still looking good..
Oh yessss.. Yellow goodness..
Koni Yellow + Eibach = more goodness
Passenger front assembly reinstalled..
Pulled the Track Toy out so it could get some sunlight! Took it for a spin also.. Had not driven in about a month..

Nah just kidding, so we wrapped up the car so we could do some brakes on my sisters car also.. wrapped up everything and took for a spin..
They have a turn and a half in front and one full turn in the back.. rides nice and tight and not harsh in anyway.. was a short drive but was great.. will take in for alignment next weekend and hopefully they will settle in completely the weekend after that I will head out to a meet the Southeast chapter is putting together..
Car rides great Keith.. and it lays about half inch lower now.. will snap some pics next weekend, i will be at CT a full week for work.. freezing my 90 degree accostumed rear in CT weather!
I went with the lowest perch on each corner BUT I used the full length of the bump stop, did not cut in half..
Not sure why many threads mentioned cutting it in half, probably because of the inner step of it not wanting to go passed the Koni inner tube thing.. but with a little persuation they where able to pass it completely..

In for pics!
When I installed mine, I didn't turn the damping up for ~1000 miles (I thought it was ~ 500miles break in). Some say it's not needed.
I believe the cutting/trimming of the bumpstop, is for the increased drop, so that you don't hit the Bumpstops as quickly. If that makes sense. Some say do it, some say don't. I trimmed the front about an 1".

The Buddy Clubs on the track car were just like that, slapped them on setting dialed in and off to the track..
That's what I thought about the bumpstop, that if you trim it, the car will actually drop more but you could risk having the shock riding lower and blowout quicker. Not sure, just thinking out loud.. But really happy with the ride.. They are definitely stiffer than before and not harsh at all..
I have some before pics just after I installed the rims and I will try to get some in the same position to compare..

Ok so bear with me.. Cell pics for now.. Talking with a buddy from Orlando to see if he comes down for a shooting of the track car and also some shots of the TL.. But these pics at least show the difference..
Rear before..
Rear after..
Front before..
Front after..
Full side.. Car should sit lower after a while.. All bushings are new including full bumpstop so after an amount of miles it usually compresses a bit more..
Rides 20 times better.. OEMs really needed to be changed.. They had been on the car for 100k plus of which 70-75k where on the Eibach's..

Thanks!!! Phone is kind of old and there are some out there with much better cameras.. I should try to use the Go Pro Hero 3 for some snaps and see how they come out, I only use it on the track for vids..
Thank you!
Now it sits exactly like I wanted! Once I run 255's it should be even better! If needed, I'll just roll the rear fenders a bit more..
Don't be jealous! You know your car is really clean.. Mine still needs a lot of TLC on the interior

Very cool about the meet. It's always great to meet guys you talk with here in person.
By next weekend, we're supposed to be back towards the 50's.....which means I haven't seen nor driven my Stingray for about 2 weeks.....

Thanks!
I have, specially since I have the passenger skirt scraped, given a visit to a sidewalk one night of drinks back in PR
What is holding me back is the rear.. I want to eventually go with quads, even if its tips at least and I want to go probably with the Type S Rear which does not come in PMM..
But have to plan it well because if I do that I need to do the exhaust and also paint all at once including the front lip which has seen better days..
If I had to say I had more things planned for it would be:
Test pipe to eliminate third cat (already at stage 3)
Type S rear sidemarkers
Front headlights blacked out with upgraded lens
Complete A Spec Kit and add the Quads..
All that eventually.. Without neglecting the del Sol!

Hopefully will be moving from my current place into a house with a two car garage, also got the house back in PR on the market hoping it gets sold soon
And yes, guys and cars at the meet where top notch. Super friendly, had a great time.. Drive was definitely worth it.. Was about 2.5 hours away.. Trip computer registered close to 400 miles and 6 hours of ass time in the car but again totally worth it

Great guys all three and met a couple more.. Carlos JDMaccord3.5, beastua6, Marcel who has a nice looking Mini, met Ivo aka Family Guy with his sweet Type S, also Gabriel with the 2G and Leo I believe was his name aka MR101 with the 4G..
Saw the TLX Project up front, car looks so clean!

And I think that is the exact reason why they were so cool, I basically met up with a group of cats that regardless the time they have been around and the knowledge they have they were very open to have new people jump in to their group of friends and chill for a while.. Been to other meets were if you aren't part of the core group or click they just dismiss you and be all stuck up and shit..
I really look forward to meeting many more local enthusiast that share the same car passion I got..
Cheers Steven..
