Now the interior is mostly done. Installed my Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel. Added the last sender I needed for my water temp gauge. Wired the panel and added a 12v lighter port. Took care of some leaking orings on the fuel injection pump and took for a long drive over the weekend.

Finally did some more mods to the M2 Competition, lately all work was going into the 2002. I was able to confirm the M3/M4 S55 Intakes from Turner Motorsport are a straight fit on the M2 Competition.
The attention to detail is great, the kit came with all new hardware and took less than an hour to install with basic tools in my garage. Induction noise is greatly improved and it looks amazing. Video is at the end after pics with a timelapse install and also some induction sounds.
Nice kit, can be configured in multiple ways, matte finish, gloss finish, non carbon (aluminum) and you can opt for top lids or open setup.

You can skip time lapse install and go straight to sound at about minute 2.
First induction sounds are with microphone inside cabin, second set are with microphone in the engine compartment.

Thanks guys! Its crazy the amount of attention the little fucker grabs when I take him out. The M2C gets attention but usually it attracts dumbass people that want to race in traffic on 45mph roads. The 2002 is constant thumbs ups from all people not just BMW owners and when I stop for gas someone always walks over to talk about the car. Its running rich AF and got some info from other 2002 owners on how to check the mechanical fuel injection setup so hopefully I can get it running less rich.

I kick myself over it now. When I was in high school, there was a pretty tired 2002 (I think) parked in a yard I drove by daily. Should've scooped it up.
Last time I went to C&C, there was a small group of 2002 drivers, all super clean cars & parked a bit away from the main event. Super nice folks.

Couple things going on with the cars, sent my 2002 to a Kugelfischer expert (mechanical fuel pump) to get the car running smoother, it was running pretty loaded on gas and had a rough idle. Just got it back yesterday and its running solid now!
Had some fun at the BMWCCA Oktoberfest couple weeks ago hanging out with the Turner Motorsport, ECS Tuning and XPEL
Also made the error (willingly) to go visit who sold me the 2002 to see how the fellow was doing and see what else he had for sale and I ended up buying a 2 owner with all service records provided 1987 BMW 325is, the car is still up there, got the OEM wheels placed back on it and is going to my detail shop before being sent to Florida.
I need to get down to Palm Beach Cars and Coffee to see a couple of you again, havent been down in a while.

Was lucky to link up with my friends from Turner the whole week while there. They posted the car a couple times that week.

Only a few short years ago you were a Honda bro.
It all went downhill faster than an M2 at the track.
Love your garage and your passion and your lack of fear
to spend cash to get shit done right. If I die, I want to come
back as your offspring. Would be a good life. I'll start calling
you Papi now in preparation.

You don't want J as your offspring
He'll go through puberty and ruin all your good towels
When you hide the towels, he'll ruin all your socks
You can't stop him once he gets going

I’m immediately regretting this decision. I will have to throw him out of the household before he hits puberty 🤣
