LS1, LS2, and now an LS3!!!

Well, I pulled the trigger on my early b-day present!

Thank you all for voting an providing feedback in the earlier thread!

Just picked up my White Hot GXP, 6M, with a sunroof.

I was even on my trade in within $80. Paid $1K below invoice with 0% for 72 months.

I had a 99 Camaro SS, and a 2005 GTO. Such a familiar feeling is already coming back to me!!!

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow but I may wait until I get tints.

I came to this decision after driving the G8, G37, Genesis, and a used E350 and the G8 won me over. The 0% for 72 months was also a plus I put down 2K and my payments are in the low $500 range.

Pix or ban!

Congrats! I thought about the GXP briefly as a way to save money over the V, but I got a deal on the V I couldn't turn down.

and drive in good health without too many tickets!

Thanks!

It's too dark and I can't get the car up the driveway because it's too steep

I didn't know you pulled the trigger on the V!! Sweet! Now I'm jealous!

Yup, two months ago. You mean you missed my mega-thread with pix-click?

I'm another G8 fan as external design is GREAT, a better job than GM did with the recent GTO. I keep saying that I wish Honda/Acura would hire Bob Lutz or someone like him....

I,too, love the new G8.. especially the manual version, of course. Best looking Pontiac product in years and a serious machine to boot.

Awesome! I just checked it out- very sweet! If only I had another 20K lol

I've seen a few people on the G8 boards swapping out the GXP wheels for the CTS-V. They look great!

Probably... I'm going to take a few days getting used to the stick first before I attempt it

The rear tires on the V are wider, which is always a plus with this much power!

The Tremec tr6060 in the G8 feels a hell of a lot better than the T56 in the GTO. The throws are much shorter and crisper. The ride in the G8 seems smoother with about the same body roll.

The car seems pretty stealth but the engine gurgles on idle and sounds awesome Nothing like a V-8! I like the style better than the GTO but I also needed 4 doors. The backseat is huge!

I think this will be a fun car! I'm keeping the tach below 3K for the first 500 miles.

The interior is nice. Of course there are a few options that would be nice but overall, I have no complaints. It's definitely nicer than the GTO. The ride is very quiet at cruising speeds.

btw, it's 6.2L

DO IT while there are still some out there. From what I have read, they may not be building them anymore.

I'm not a fan of white cars but I have to say, yours is drop dead beautiful.. no question about it. I would leave it alone, just like it is. I see nothing there to improve upon and nothing lacking. My kinda car.
