Hey all!!!! Getting my oil changed today, so I took my car into the dealer last nite, and they gave me an RSX as a loaner for the nite and afternoon (I'll pick my baby up this evening). But, DAMN that a fun little car to drive. It wasn't an 'S', but still the engine sounds great, handles well, and the short, sport shift is wonderful!!!! I had so much fun with it on the highway that the check engine lite came on and is STILL on!!! I can't imagine what's wrong. The car has like 800 miles on it. Ooooooops.......too much fun I guess!!! Gonna go test drive a TypeS this weekend for shits and giggles!!!

 

I'm taking my car in today and I hope that is what I get as a loaner. We'll see.

 

Im getting my oil change next week, hopefully they will give me an NSX as a loaner car!

 

How sweet would an NSX be?! CHRIST!!!! I let me buddy drive the RSX last nite, 'cause he is SERIOUSLY looking at getting into one. He'd go full out with the TypeS and all, but he was VERY impressed to say the least with the base type.

 

The engine sounds good, but its still NO WHERE near a Type R!!!

i test drove one with 30 miles on it. i tested it with "enthusiam." that is all i'm going to say.

 

Ohhhhh...didn't beat it at all. Had fun with the sport shift and down shifted on the highway on-ramp and got RPM's up around 5500, but that should be no 'cause for trouble. Yea....maybe a little early in the life of the engine for that kinda stuff, but still....

Yea......I KNOW!!!!! I'm pissed 'cause I want to go, but I'm headed over to Lake Roosevelt for four days of wild festivities with the 'ol college buddies!!! Too bad, 'cause we don't have that many meets up here in the PNW. There was that one in July, but I couldn't hit that one either. Ugh. Maybe next time. Where'd you buy your car at?! Seattle at SouthCenter has treated me supurbly!!! Loaner for an oil change???? That's service!!!

 

I got mine at Acura of Lynnwood. The meet in July was cool got to meet some cool folks. Only one other CL showed up (cmark) Hopefully another meet is soon maybe end of the summer meet

 

It's tough to get a CL meet goin' up here, 'cause there aren't that many CL's around!! It's a TL world up here. That's okay though. Lynnwood's got a great parts dept. I go up there to get gadgets that Bellevue and/or Seattle don't have (ie. chrome liscence plate frame, etc.) Well, we ought to put something together before summer's out!!! Maybe we'll keep our eyes and ears out for another TL meet.

 

If you go to the TL forum: Nate or UWTL always got the DL on the meets. If not we can get something going. Maybe labor Day weekend???
