Just purchased a 350Z!

Just went to the dealership and got my Z! Track version with Navigation. Color: Silverstone. It's being shipped out from somewhere, hopefully I'll get it by Friday. Got a good deal, not my original 36.5 that I was thinking.....but 37k out the door....... I will miss the CL though, just got it back today.....looks great after the bicycle accident......

Assuming that you paid $0 down and no trade in..
If not then OMG 37K out the door, thats around 53K CDN for a track w/ NAVI?.. how did you get it at that price? thats an AMAZING deal!!

Congrats... nice ride.

I'd love a 350z too, but I can't afford two cars and the Z doesn't make sense for NY driving in the winter. Oh well, I'll just live through all of the other board members who bought one

Nice!! It's a shame that my CL is not giving me any good reasons to change cars right now... otherwise I would be all over that or the G35C6 myself...

Hey Ginash, congrats man!!! Damn that's such a nice car and the price, DAMN!!! I thought you're looking for a used NSX, but it looks like there's no more Honda love. But hey you can't go wrong with the 350Z and a track model at that either!! I better see the new Greddy Twin Turbo kit by the end of this year or I'll be dissappointed!! Oh and I forgot, don't forget to give me the ride of a lifetime hehe. We should go to the track and see which car's faster, my R vs. your Nissan!! You know my car shines in the handling department first hand! Let's see what you got.

Gotta agree on that wide body kit; looks terrible to me. I just ordered this INGS +1 kit:

To me it registers pretty low on the rice-ometer and gives the Z a sleeker look. Should be here in 4 weeks; straight from Japan

I hated most about the Z is rear visibility,... It is nice track car, but CL is more versatile and daily driver.

Thanks guys, I'm excited to get the car!

Jestin- see you on the track... lol

Beltfed-Nope, bought it new. The freakin preowned one was asking for 34,600 out the door.... The guy was insane for thinking that I would purchase a USED Z with 5k miles, and an accident.... geez....

Zeroday- Your kit looks HOT..... how much $$$$??? I'm not feelin the veilside either that much.

jucee187- I traded in my car, got 18k for it, paid the balance and the price was about 37k total. Good deal, but my taxes were lower since I only was charged on the balance....

I'll be getting custom leather in a week (that's the only thing that sux about the track model, doesnt have leather). It's gonna look like this:

What do you guys think?

btw, my car had 43k miles on the trade in. I would have loved to sell it and made more, but honestly, the car is not selling well....another member had his car up for 2 months with no luck..... A few other dealers really tried to rape me by quoting my car for 16-17k. Also, I;m not sure if the "bicycle accident" showed up when they looked up my VIN< but they knew something was up in the rear..... maybe because the car still smelled like paint considering I picked it up straight from the bodyshop and then went to the dealership.... lol

Def nate, that color is actually called "orange" by Katzkin, it's not a perfect match to Burnt Orange, but I think it looks better... imo

Thanks. It's the INGS +1 Version 2 kit; I got it at www.vividracing.com for $1600 plus $200 shipping (unpainted, spoiler not included; i'm keeping my OEM lip). There are two versions; one version is all fiberglass (frp) and one is called 'hybrid aero' which is a mix of urethane and fiberglass. I got the hybrid aero. It's supposed to be much more durable/flexible. The FRP kit is cheaper; 1300 plus shipping. I've seen this kit cheaper, but most had a 2-3 month wait and i'm pretty impatient.

Good call on the katzkins; I've got the burnt orange leather also. I really should have bought the track, some katzkins, and an aftermarket radio instead of the touring package. I really want those brembos . I didn't know about Katzkins back then, and I thought the bose would be better than it is. Oh well.

Next i'm buying rims, then I'll buy the turbo...I'm still waiting on Nismo to come out with something that won't void my factory warranty, but that Greddy kit looks shweet.

18K for ur CLS.. that seems about right... but then you still have to pay 37K??.. that doesnt make sense so
so 37K + 18K = 55K USD = 80K CDN!??!?
#'s dont quite work out... you can get a performance package with navi for 56K CDN out the door.. no trade in.
for the track just add an extra 3k maybe so 59KCDN = 41K US --- remember no trade in.... so they only deducted 3k basically.. thats really weird..
