My original plan was to lease my 335 sedan. I'm putting down $5,000, so my payments are just under $600/month. Pricey, I know, but I had to opt for the 20k/year mileage allowance, as the standard 10k/year is not even enough to cover my daily commute to work. However, when the car gets here, I may look into buying it instead.

Only because my new puppy wakes me up at 4am to take her out.

Otherwise it still hasnt really hit me that im getting the 335i. Im in denial about it.

Im sure I will be excited once my sales guy calls and tells me the car is ready.

I was the same way, until I saw it at the port I was totally chill about it. Then I got all crazy...where's the car? My CA hated me.

Anyway, the PROcede is up to 380/410 on 93 octane, I don't know how long I can hold out. I have everything else done, coilovers, exhaust, lsd... crap.

When's your car gonna be here again CQ?

Well I think it gets to the port on the 18th. So im hoping it can make it to my dealer by the weekend.

My CA doesnt seem much help when i ask him questions. As long as he doesnt prep the car or put the front plate on then ill be happy. Those are the only two things I told him not to do...

I also got a good rate from my credit union so I will be buying the car instead.

Which port? Over there or here?

If there then it will take about two weeks to get to the states. Then few days after that to get to your dealer.

Damn your order went in faster than mine did! I ordered April 23rd!

Here, at New York. Yeah, when you order the boring, non in-demand, dime a dozen sedan, you get it much faster Hell I'm surprised your coupe came so quickly, they told me there'd be a 3 month minimum wait time for a coupe ordered from the factory!

If the VPC is not backlogged, you should get it in a few days...it takes about 5 days in VPC and then the car goes on a trailer down to your dealer in VA...Mine came on 3/1 and the dealer didn't get it until 3/16 (snow & rain cause the backlog), it took 2 bus days for the paperwork before I could pick it up....when you drive it off the dealership, it is well worth the wait

^ funny thing is that i know nothing about my car as far as options.

I have no idea if it has a single cd player or cd changer.

I just knew I loved the way it drove... oops.

I think you know it comes in a single cd player unless you add a 6 disc changer. If you have access to the Owner Circle, it should have indicate what the dealer order for you. I kept it simple, Steptronic & Comfort Access, that's it..

I dont know about BMW but I noticed on most cars if you get the Navi they normally give you the disk changer as well.

Shad and Crazy,

You guys have to promise to study carefully and PATIENTLY IDrive. Don't join those guys that bash it because they've only used it for a day or two. I agree it's far from th easiest or most fun system but it takes time getting used to and eventually works.

I didn't get IDrive (I was too busy listening to all those guys that bash it because they've only used it for a day or two )

In all honesty though, I decided to pass for a couple reasons. I hadn't heard too many positive things about it, either from the automotive press or from owners. Then I drove my Uncle's 645 that had it, and I didn't like it at all. So I figured I might as well save a couple grand and skip on it. Besides, I have navigation on my phone, which is very easy to use, and portable

I've really been looking at the 328 coupe.. Soooo sexxy!

congrats to everyone on getting their rides...

Everyday I keep thinking about going over to the dealership and trading in my CL and getting into a White 328 coupe =D

This is killing me!

And to top it off, theres a waiting period, I would for sure die! haha

congrats again everyone!

I needed a small advice,

I ordered a 08 S4 three weeks ago but the car hasn't even started production( I can pay a fee to cancel or arrange with dealer). I test drove it and I liked it because you had AWD and a healthy V8. The problem is now I realize I could get a red Magnum SRT8 for a very good price(about 1k over msrp all options.) Do you think it's a wise choice to stick with the Audi or go for the HEMI? Thanks in advance...

Getting iDrive doesn't get you a changer, you have to pay for that separately... It's BMW after all. Just get the ipod interface and/or burn some mp3's to a single CD.

Why? It's your decision, dude. What kind of car do YOU want? IMO I would not pass up an Audi for a Dodge

No I decided to stay with Audi. After all, she's going to be the one driving it so it's her choice that matters in the end...not to mention she almost killed me when I mentionned ''Dodge''. She thinks of a dodge ram when I say Dodge
