It's tough to not modify it. I already priced out a lift, wheels/tires, etc... but then I keep remembering it's being used for towing. Plus, the weight distribution hitch and everything is all setup for the ride height now... so I'm thinking I may leave it as is as to not mess up any of the geometry...
And it would help with the earlier 10mph figure as well.

Once you go blown you can't go back. What a great combo. CTS-V Wagon for the daily and a supercharged Tunrda for towing.

Back from an out of state trip that we had to extend... so getting ready to really list it now on all the sites including eBay. I gave everyone on the CTSV forum a heads-up although I have a feeling most of those are mostly talk...

^ Not really... just put a post on the CTSV forum.
Going to give it a nice wash tonight and take it to C&C tomorrow with a For Sale sign. I'll grab some additional pics this weekend then will really start listing it next week on eBay, AutoTrader, Cars.com, etc.
I am actually going to list it for a bit more on those sites, but will likely include some extras that are all brand new (all-weather mats, roof rails, possibly Airraid intake)... things like that.

I brought it to C&C with a 'For Sale' sign in the window and it got a lot of attention. I actually had about 3 or 4 people call me on the spot... so I would walk over to the car to chat. Even when doing that others were asking. I also noticed several folks taking pics of the sign with my number so hopefully I'll get some traction. Got a few new pics over the weekend and will likely officially list it this week.

Haha... I don't... but we don't need 6 cars for 2 people and it just makes sense. Plus I have some other things brewing which just kind or reinforce selling.

What all weather mats do you have for the car?

I have the OEM CTS ones. I was going to say if they were weather tech laser fit I would take them off your hands.

Happy wife, happy life. Thankfully, the wife understands my need to occasionally carry, um, "stuff" that won't fit in the RLX. She therefore tolerates my wagon.

^ For sure. And honestly, I have enough toys. I mean without blinking she was OK with me buying and shipping in a Toyota Tundra and a Toy Hauler within a day ofeach other to use for my go-kart racing. I mean seriously... I can't complain. Re-read that... just laid out a bunch of money so I am more comfortable when I camp at the track racing karts. Plus, with 3 trucks in the garage now it's hard to justify the Vagon. I'll sell it and buy another toy down the road after things settle and we do some upgrades to the houses that we want to make... one upgrade being building another garage to use partially as a workshop for racing.
So yeah, I'm OK with it

Well, the Caddy was sold last week and the shipping company came to pick it up this morning. Bittersweet day...
I guess the good news is that if Jason wants the personalized plate for his Vagon, it will be available when I turn it in to the DMV this week

Now, for the reason it was bittersweet. Even though The deal was selling the Vagon for the Tundra and Toy Hauler I kind of borrowed against the house to buy those since they were purchased in mid-June. The wife was wanting a new car and looking for something more sporty than her E350... and she found what she was looking for outside of Atlanta (Athens to be exact). So we called the dealer, negotiated the trade and price of the new car on the phone Wednesday, put down a deposit, then drove down Saturday to swap them out.
I must say this thing is a beast. Only has about 20 more HP than the Vagon, but more than 40 more pounds of torque. I'm thinking the twin turbo helps too. Seriously, the Vagon could get up and move... but this thing straight up scares me. It's just raw, unabashed speed. And that's in comfort mode. Switch it to Sport or better yet... Sport +, and holy crap... it's basically a LeMans prototype for the street. It cruises incredibly well on the highway (nearly as good at the Vagon) but when you want to go... wow...
Quick specs... 2015 E63 AMG S, had like 14xxx miles and was actually an executive car, so the thing is hardly even broken in. I don't think the seats were even sat in (other than the driver seat, which also looked new). Pretty much fully loaded. I even used the massaging seat on the drive home. Just an unbelievable car. The only things we have planned right now are to tint the windows and get the roof spoiler. That should be it. Below are some quick pics I snapped when we got home after the trip and before the storms came through...
