My apologies for not keeping this thread up to date!
Aside from a set of 19" GT wheels and a Boss style grille (which I made out of a Mustang Club of America grille) there isn't much to update.
I still love the car as much (if not more) than the day I picked it up. Not a single thing has required attention in the 40k miles I've driven it. Took it on a road trip to Memphis and Nashville a couple months ago and got 33mpg all the way down.
Here's how she looks now:
There's really nothing much else I want to change, but maybe an intake in the spring.
In terms of common issues, there's really nothing I can think of on these. Motors seem really stout as they seem to handle substantial boost well, and the rest of the car seems to be rock solid as well. Yes, transmissions will always be a discussion point but I'm a firm believer that while there are cars out there with issues, it's been blown way out of proportion on the internet. Only other things I can think of are some squeaky suspension bushings on some 2012's but that shouldn't be an issue on 2013/2014's.
Any other questions feel free to ask away!

Glad to hear it, man!
Although I still feel like I would HAVE to have the 5.0...I WILL say that we had a sterling silver v6 rental in December of 2012 and I have a LOT of respect for it. Lots of power when you want it, very cozy to drive around, great gas mileage with all things considered. I absolutely loved driving it around!
Thanks for checking back in!

Glad to hear it's been trouble free and you still love it. Those GT wheels and the grill look perfect on it!

The newer V6 Mustangs have really grown on me since my good friend got his several years ago. For the few times I have driven it, I've never had weird grinds or pop outs.
I helped him move into his new place and he had no choice but to hand me the keys to his Mustang while he drove the moving truck. Once we got on the freeway, all he saw was a white dot I told him he had to stretch it's legs every once in awhile.
Car has excellent torque & top end, I was impressed with the power and overall fit & finish.

Big time...and the color changing gauges etc...loved it too.
Yeah, last week I was going to shoot my buddy's 2013 5.0. He got it in white, brembo and projector headlight package...recently added 40HP and springs and Magnaflow exhaust. I got to drive it around a bit and man does that thing sound amazing. Roads were wet and I'd had a beer so I didn't really push my luck. Shifted at 2500 rpm's or less in each gear, felt VERY counter intuitive!

Your 'stang looks clean. You've obviously taken care of it. Glad you are still enjoying it.
33 mpg in a pony car. Imagine that! Makes me at least a little jealy.
