The past couple of days I have encountered more idiots on the road then I have experienced in a 6 month time. People cutting me off, people on cell phones not paying attention, people doing eye makeup while going 50 down the expressway, people almost rear ending me, 80yr olds going 55 in the left lane and not moving over, the list goes on. I'm usually a conservative driver and dont let much of this bother me, but lately I have been fed up with it. I almost feel like ramming someone everytime they do some dumbass move.
People need to wake the fuck up and learn how to drive or else take the bus.

Get used to it. The fact is that the majority of America doesn't know how to drive worth a shit and our licensing system is too ineffective to do anything about it.

That makes sense, I was just hit for the first time yesterday. The lady decided feeling for an open lane with her front bumper was better than opening her eyes and looking!

 

Its a lot like a video game....I have a car which I don't care about (as long as it still drive), you can't drive more then 5 mph so you can't really get hurt....The object is to avoid double deckers, cyclists, pedestrians, taxis, etc....All by driving down a two way street that barely fits one car....

 

I was driving home to goto lunch today and saw an old lady that could barely see over the steering wheel in her Jag run a stop sign. Some one was going and they had to slam on their brakes.

What was weird was that she was slowing down and as if to say "ah, fuck it" she rolled right through it. Hands gripped to the wheel, looking forward the whole time.

My parents arent that old yet, but it makes me wonder what I'm going to do when the time comes...

 

funny you started this thread...my aunt was in an auto accident the other night on her way home from my house.

asshole ran a red light, hit her driver's side near the rear, spun her minivan sideways and the oncoming car hit her too (he was going opposite direction she was).

She's ok, just bruises from the seatbelt...but according to her the guy who hit her (at 9:30pm) had no lights on or anything. Knowing our luck he probably doesn't have insurance either.

and on the way into work this morning...there are 2 intersections that I cross, about a block from one another each with a traffic light.

car in front of me at the first intersection at red...turns green, we go. Next light is red and is still red. Motherfucker in front of me drives right through it...luckily the perpendicular traffic has to turn left or right (can't go straight), so they were slow enough to see this lady drive through and not hit her.

 

Its really bad here. And not to be racist, but the majority of idiot drivers I've encountered in the past couple weeks are from southern Asia

 

Try driving an American sized UPS truck on those roads, when in the AF over there had to drive many times on those horse coach sized roads.

Today on the way home I swear every idiot was out. People were going straight from turn only lanes (the ones in the middle of the road that face another turn only lane) and and idiot thought he had the right of way on an on ramp where he had a yeild. Dipshit nearly ran me off the road.

I've been hit TWICE in the front bumber by people who were backing up and talking on their cell phones. AHHHH!

I live in Cali so people drive like its a race track (Myself sometimes included) but they drive like their driving for the first time!

They don't ever signal it seems ( I hate that!) And they'll wait till you get right next to them almost to switch lanes!

SE Asia + Indians. The SE Asians drive like idiots, the Indians just drive SLOW. This lady was on the left lane (fast lane) during rush hr traffic, doing like 45 in a 65mph zone, and just leading the trail of traffic, oblivious to all the cars that went around her.

 

im 18, but im at least smart enogh to not try to juggle talking on the cell phone makup and changing pants(yes..ive seen it) ive been cut off several times by kids not paying any attetion at all

 

the worst time to drive in my city is during working hours (8:30 to 4:30pm)...i took the morning off to run errands one day and that's when all the old folks come out of the woodwork. I'd rather be driving on the roads with SE Asians and Indians, they are usually a little more predictable than the old folks.

And they can see better than the old folks...don't let the slanty eyes fool you, I have slanty eyes and can see fine...i just use a braille keyboard because i like it.

 

Were they all driving Honda's or Acura's?
