Thing is... who wouldn't have let the guy sit on the bike? I probably would have too. But then again I have full coverage and my bike is paid for.

I had something like that happen to me. Sold my '88 Katana a few years ago and the guy gets on it to take it for a spin. Prob is he either was a new rider or hadn't ridden in YEARS and he just about laid it down. He bought it but had me worried for a sec.
Guy should've got a current photo driver's license from the "buyer." Hard lesson and what a way to say good bye to a few grand!

At the very least, I would have asked for his drivers license.
Should have hold on to his driver license or make a copy or it before the test drive. Also the bike is uninsured. What would happen if the guy test drives and hits something or gets into an accident?
I feel sorry for the buyer but he should have been more careful .... lesson learned.

funny is... situations like this some up for me every once in a while... weather it be a bike / car audio / rims from friends around me... and every so often we catch them walking around at a mall. at the movies. shit at fuckin Denny's at 2 in the morning on a saturday.
