The first Toyota Mk-II came out in August 1968 , the Mk-X is the 9th(10th?) gen of this line.

Continental Mk-II came out a decade earlier though.

Mk-X is an entry level luxury RWD sedan. There is no room for this kind of car in the current American Toyota line-up.

Lincoln's use of the 'Mark' name predates my own birth by more than a decade.

I had a '79 MkV that was identical to this one, except mine was lowered. I also had a green '77 but it was a piece of shit.

I had a mechanic who claimed to have 400,000 miles on his. It was almost exactly like the one above. He said that the only real problem he had was with the timing chain. Those cars were before being pimp was cool.
