What do you all think about those cars?
And if I do get rid of it I have some stuff like a intake mani and a 3 din jvc head unit that i can get rid of.

Piece of junk.
If you're going to buy ANY ford Sedan, go for one of the Fusions. I had the opportunity to drive a 2010 Ford Fusion 6 speed manual with a V-6 engine under the hood. I fell in love with that car. Beautifully smooth ride. They're powerful right off the lot... really no reason to do any aftermarket additions.

Get a good used car. Just be careful of whom you're buying from. Take a look at them, see how clean they are themselves, etc. If a guy has his pants down to his ankles, and is wearing a t-shirt that could pass as a muumuu, don't trust him because his car probably is as shitty as his attire.

^ Then don't buy from anyone anywhere NEAR Chico.
If you want a car that runs perfectly, looks great, AND lets you keep that manifold, buy desired_speeds's car. Cash up front, or a cleared cashier's check before title transfer.
Banks ARE giving loans, BTW, and they're not any pickier than they used to be.

Not really they are not cuz i have perfect credit over 700 and i could not even get a loan and i also have a credit card not just one type of credit so i really wish you were right about the whole they are giving loans out to people with good credit but the facts are they really are not you have to put down over 20% or have a co signer and some cash my dad went in to the car dealer be for this whole recession and put down 100 bucks and a brand new f-150 got with no problem and he has horrible credit so there is defently something going on with the banks.
And i do not want and acura anymore way to much to keep insurance on for one and just to hard to keep care of every single part is so damn expensive and if i do find a cheap part the gasket is 80 bucks each so its a big waste of time for me i no alot of people are going to think im an idiot but really i guess this is just how it is to keep on of these old cars and u no what i dont have all the hook up like most of you who get parts for cheap and no where to get them so for you all this is a good car but not for me.

It's not the bank - it's just how it is, it's how it's been and it's how it'll always be. Just make sure you continue building your credit history. I had the same problem when I was 19. I already had 2 car loans under my belt and had a 715 credit score and still couldn't land a loan w/out a co-signer. They need years of proof that you are responsible enough to pay on time.
If you are looking some something reliable and cheap, why not look at some accords or camry's?
What kind of budget are you working with? Don't buy a brand new Ford, they depreciate very fast. At least get a year or two old and let someone else pay the first few years depreciation.
^^^ Honda and Acura's are VERY affordable to keep and maintain. I'm not sure how you can do much cheaper on insurance than a 1st Gen TL. Consider somethings with something like an escort... although its new they're far from problem free so if there are issues where you need to leave the car at the dealer for a few days what will you do for a car then? It's not like you get a loaner from Ford for servicing an Escort so paying rental fees is going to negate the savings. Also resale value is crap on them and once out of warranty repairs might be cheaper but more frequent. Personally if I was in a huge money crunch I'd consider a few year old Civic, Corolla, or Tercel before an Escort.

We would've helped you, and I DID help you until you backed out and left me sitting.
Getting a Ford instead of Japanese is like buying disposable razors versus a Mach III or like. Yeah, disposables are cheap, only $1, but over the course of 6 months you use 50. Buy a Mach III and while it might be $15 up front, you replace the head at $8 once every two months. Disposable cost = $50, Mach III = $31.

You DID have the hook up: ALL of us 1Gers in the Bay.

Disposable as in when your engine sludge’s up or when your frame rots out a-la Toyota? Or are you referring to the multiple transmissions in your TL/Accord? I've been a Honda fan for a long time, but this type of statement is downright ignorant. Ford's reliability is right up there with the top brands. That being said, up until recently, thier designs haven't exactly been 'inspiring'.

My brother bought a 2001 Ford Escape when the model was introduced. Three alternators later, the 2002 model year was released. THAT is Ford quality.
As far as designs, you're entitled to your opinions. Personally, give me a big body that has a low and wide appearance, than a car that doesn't know if it's supposed to be a bubble or a porcupine.
I wholeheartedly agree. This should have been kept in the 1G section.

And i do have a mach 3 i dont like those damn disposable razors
I was referring to problems in general, which is why I said TL/Accord - and cited the Toyota example. My point was that no car manufacturer is immune to problems, and blanket statements like the one above are wrong.
