Agreed. Don't like the beak, either. It ticks all the boxes.

NOW the wife says she wants a little more cargo space than the RDX. Not necessarily a 3rd row, just more cargo space.

Not ruling out the RDX.

It does, but he wanted one before. And you can fold the third row and have more storage room, too. Win-win?

The Traverse certainly isn’t the smallest SUV with a third row.

Relax your years requirement and ventilated seats and find a nice low miles 2G MDX.

MDX could be on the table now, possibly with Pilot Elite. I assume only the Advance versions of the MDX have ventilated seats, like the RDX?

Dunno. Never had ventilated seats on my must-have list.

And I haven’t seriously shopped Acura since 2008 when we bought our MDX. Just put on its 3rd set of tires.

MDX would be a great choice I think. You would essentially have two vehicles with the same engine as well. You can service parts in bulk.

That's also why I liked the RDX. Same engine.

He already said he doesn't buy new though and I still think the newest one doesn't look as good as the MDX.

Well that's just like.. your opinion dude

The MDX is a lot nicer looking, but my point was that the Pilot Elite is not a bad alternative

Your requirement to not be AWD is asinine
Almost as asinine as wanting heated seats in FL

Why the fuck would I need AWD in Florida? I'll wait for a valid reason.

Even though you work hard sometimes exactly what you want doesn’t exist.

Find the car you want, then find the specific example of that car you are willing to buy.

Be pragmatic in your tradeoffs. Don’t, for example, dismiss the low miles sweetheart that lacks ventilated seats for the high miles rode hard and put away wet hosebag with a ventilated seat.

I have a car with your required features.

Collision avoidance has never saved my bacon. Lane departure warning is annoying. Adaptive cruise rocks for traffic jams and long drives. Cooled seats are nice but not indispensable even our hottest weather.

Oh and AWD rocks for handling, traction, and rain. And snow. It beats the crap out of FWD every single day.

Because it won't cost you any more in fuel or cost to buy and opens you up to many more options.

Still don't understand the rationale for not wanting AWD. If you really want to save fuel, you should be considering a 4cyl and not a V6...

There are quite a few options out there that have all of your desires but are AWD. Are you really willing to pass that up for literally no reason at all?

Umm... Well, relax Jap for Asian and get a Sorento SXL, or SantaFe Limited Ultimate...

No Honda, Toyota, or Nissan will give you good handling, premium features, auto vs cvt, and good styling...

In example, Highlander has the V6 (otherwise garbage), Nissan has the Remote start/Cooled seats stiil a V6 (cvt), Honda has the Pilot ...

If your just gonna get a Traverse anyway, why not look at an Acadia, oh wait, you're looking at 16's, the new one is much better looking imho...

The GM lambda platform has proven pretty reliable from what know...

Don't settle for crap...
