Have two cars on order (well truck and a car) that are gonna take awhile. So I I think I’ve gone a pretty fucking rad direction while I wait for them. Got offered a deal I couldn’t say no to.

Just drive it. It’s a 10/10 car. Won’t drive it much. Plus it’s actually miserable to drive. Will hold on a bit and sell it. Got a deal I couldn’t say no to.
countach soooo expensive though 😂

Have heard the same about the Countach.
Can't recall which Italian car it was, or if it was a reference to all the 80s cars, that the A/C was effectively a small Italian man living in the dash & blowing on you with a straw

holy fuck. I don't care who you are, unless your net worth has lots of zeros that's still a lot of money lol.
How often does that need to be done?
Fixed.

Here I got all snooty and thought you bought a mclaren!
this car will never see the track, that’s what the 996 turbo is for (that said, I snapped an axle in that, which apparently also meant a broken diff and trans internals, on a freshly new diff and trans rebuild 😂

I hang out in the TLX forums for a bit and come back to THIS. Wow. Congratulations! And $28k for an engine out service? Also, wow, and I'm happy you were not the one to pay for it.
That engine out stuff....is why I have a NSX. Engine out water pump and timing belt service...$2k every 7 years

it actually looks surprisingly easy to work on. And I’m shocked by the amount of DIY’ers there are with them. It’s pretty surprising.

Looked up close at one at a local exotic shop open house, most of the powertrain is pretty easy to access (plugs, valves, fuel injection distributors,...).. Looks like a afternoon for a clutch replacement.
I take it yours has 16" or 17" tire/wheels and not the TRX like this one. I have a set of E24 M6 415mm tires/wheels rims in the basement looking for a new home.
