For the guys that started out with Integra's

I was 13 when this came out. My father purchased the car that very next weekend. It became mine in 01. Sold it for 4k with 200k, car is still going with 240k from my last update from the new owner. We have had 3 Integra's.

1994 Acura Integra

Thats a pretty cool commercial. I wasn't into cars in 93', because I was only like 4 lol. I have a lot of friends with Integras (94, 95, 96, 97, 01) and they survive a ton of abuse that some of those friends give to it, still running fine. Tough little cars.

I had a '95 LS when I was 16. It took quite a beating from myself and the previous owner. I've always had a thing for DC2s, especially a nice clean GS-R. The Type-Rs are not bad either.

Heh heh, that's a serious trip.

I was 26 when those came out, and the new Teg back in 1994 was VERY futuristic. The B17A1 in the previous generation gave a hint at what the B18C1 would be, but not a very good one. It was just utterly torqueless and seemed to be tuned wrong....only for the last 800rpm of the tach or so.

As a 120,000 mile owner of a brand new 1988 Integra 5 door, I've always been interested in the Integra evolution.

I remember lighting a 3rd generation up for the first time, it was a 1995 coupe with 16 miles on it, driving it back from Oakland Acura to our autobroker shop. I just laid into it up the hill going east into the Caldecott tunnel, and I simply COULD NOT BELIEVE the top end redline blast that car produced. In 1995, it was otherworldly. Ferrari-like. Basic cars weren't supposed to be able to do that. And I'd driven some seriously high-horsepower cars at that point.

For some reason, I don't remember that commercial though. I blame b-loads.

An Integra was the first car I ever bought on my own back in 1997. It was a green GS-R Sedan with every option. Including the cool in dash Acura cellular phone. I kept the car until 2006, and sold it for 7000.00. By that time it had 17" Ron Jon Servos on it, and a little over 107K miles.

Currently the car has been "Riced" beyond belief.

Actually, the car is on the Ron Jon website. It's the only 4 door Interga on the site. Damn... I miss that car.

The 'teg came out while I was in medical school and was my introduction to Acura. I always loved it but by the time I could afford one.....I bought a 2G TL instead.

I remember that ad, it was great!

I vaguely remember seeing this commercial. I was only 6. It just reminded me a lot of Hot Wheels (which I had several dozen of, at the time) and I liked the car, but didn't know what it was.

I currently own a 95 Integra LS sedan, 163,000+ miles and still running strong. Wish I could keep it but thieves keep me from turning this car into something really nice.

Before my 2G TL I had a 96 LS Sedan. Great car! She kept me and my cousin safe and alive after a lady cut us off. Anyways, I would still be driving it if it wasn't for that accident.

I have foudn tha these cars....no matter what year really are reliable. My husband and I have had a few tegs...some stock and some built and they are not only the easiest car to build but one of the toughest. Ppl still try to get their hands on them every second they can. They also held their resell value.

I bought my uncles 94 integra ls off of him back in 02' with 130k on the odometer blew the motor put a new motor in the Teggy, and then it is now in the shop with about 500$ worth of break work. i love this car! I was 6 when i saw this car in the dealer with my dad he bought a 94 acura legend 4 door v6 and i got a brochcure from the dealer for the integra. read it cover to cover and dreamed about it and then forgot about it and then my uncle aproached me with selling his integra. i said hell yeah bought the integra and have yet to stop beating it to hell. one of the best cars i have ever owned.

and it's paid off.
