I needed a way to get the kids to the skatepark with our gear. The wife asked "isn't that why we bought a truck?"
Daughter "but it's not as fast". Son "it doesn't look as cool"

So, a good buddy was getting married in LA and the wife and kids couldn't make it. Gave me an excuse to do a solo road trip, because an hour plane flight just didn't sound like much fun. Turned what should have been about a 650 round trip drive, i turned into over 1,100 miles. Did a bunch of jumping on small back roads between the 5 and 101. Got stuck on a road closure due to an accident and the officer said I'd have to wait an hour.....then chuckled and pointed to a construction truck and Ford Raptor and said I could follow them down the detour. Well, i said fuck it...detour turned out to be a 10 mile dirt and gravel road. Held up with them doing between 40-50 down the whole thing, they gave me a big thumbs up at the end as I passed them once we got on asphalt.
Drive back was solid to, got in line with a group of about 10 from the Vagos MC, and did 100-115 up the 5 for about 2 hours. They gave me a good salute as we split ways, when I got home I googled them....probably shouldn't have followed so closely, lol.
Still can't express how much I love this car. I've put over 15K miles on it in 2 years, which is impressive considering it's a 4th car.

I'll be honest, that thing right there is the greatest all around vehicle i've ever owned. I bought it never had or even thinking i'd own a truck. I love the thing.
New suspension arrives this week for it. Ditching the current lift and doing a full mid travel upgrade

Nice. That looks like an aweome location for some pictures as well. A drone view would be really cool especailly if it is a drone that has follow mode.
Wish I could find a location like that do some donuts in.

The bronze/gold has just enough contrast, the gray blends in a lot more with the car.
Bronze/gold > * IMO.

Car looks so good. I know pictures are what really always matters but when you go and put something on like Ohlins I want to hear some feedback on how the car feels. I am going to assume they handle great obviously.

so far so good. I snapped an end link my first full clock turn, lol. I want some more time behind the wheel with them. Have about 400 miles, the DFV tech really soaks up bumps. It's a little bouncier then the PSS10's, but i'm also a lot lower. I want to give the suspension some more time to settle and break in before I make a full analysis. It handles like it's on rails though

Came here hoping to read the last part and glad that is the case. I personally find that to be the best feeling in the world. I don't mind if a car has a bit of a rough ride on an upgraded suspension as long as it handles like it is on rails. Bummer though about breaking an Endlink on your first full clock turn. Are they stock or upgraded adjustable ones?
so far, very happy with the change, hoping to get it on the track end of May/June
