Is this a good deal on an s2000

2001 S2000 Manual Transmission
Price: $26,995.00
~43k miles

What do you guys think...I was thinking of a weekend car

That is a horrible price. Take a look at the kelly blue book value before you buy (www.kbb.com) look at the price you should expect to pay at a dealer. You can get an '04 sk2 for 33 or 34k, why would you pay almost 27 for an '01 with 46k miles on it. The car you are talking about should not be more than 21,500 according to kelly blue book.

sorry should have mentioned that the 21,500 is the MSRP you can find at a dealer. The trade in value for the car is ~ 17,500, so you should be able to get a price somewhere in the middle of the two.

Yeah, but this is a fair-weather car & now is the time for fair-weather driving.

$21>$22K is a reasonable price for this deal. Anything more is a waste. Don't expect to get a convertible(especially an S2000) this time of year for less than retail.

Hmmm... I'll keep checking around then. And that's a good point aboud the fairweather car/driving situation. Maybe I will wait...for a better deal HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
