Going to test drive a Tesla P85 tomorrow.
A good friend of mine is in the market for a new car and one of them is the Tesla P85. We're going tomorrow to test drive it. Will probably go by the Porsche dealership and see if they have a new Targa there and drive something. I love cars!
We're going to Indy. And the reason for the statement on the Targa...my fun car is a Boxster S. Love the Porsche's and would like to see the new Targa in person and just generally love looking at and driving beautiful cars. Gets me thinking about what I want for my next car.

My wife is starting to get the eye for a new car and she's been thinking Panamera. We also like the Tesla... but not sure if we want to jump onto that bandwagon (or spend that type of coin) just yet...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I bought the TL for its reliability and features. No, not the most beautiful car in the world but it's growing on me. I do love the interior and think it is one of the best in class and that's where I spend my time with the car mostly...not looking at it. I considered an Audi, but price and maintenance scared me. Honda reliability is where it's at.
As for the Tesla...WOW. That car is truly amazing. If you're planning on using it as a traveler auto it doesn't really fit the bill but for short trips and short commutes that is a lot of car for the money. P85D has true supercar acceleration for just north of $100k. We drove the standard P85 so not all wheel drive and only 480 HP, not 691 that the P85D has. Still the acceleration is akin to a roller coaster.

I was an Acura fan (die-hard) for nearly a decade or so before they lost my interest. In the last 8 years we've owned 2 Audi's, 1 Mercedes and 1 Porsche. During ownership (still own two of those) they were all just as reliable as any Acura I owned. And considering my TLS had a glass transmission, I'd say they were all better then that car. As for maintenance... well, you gotta pay to play... but all came with some sort of maintenance plan through either 50k or 100k (depending on the promo they had)... so in the end, not too bad for maintenance costs.
Not to turn this topic into another one of those threads... but I always chuckle when I see this.
