What really bothers me is that Hyundai decided to use amber halogen bulbs for DRLs. It looks terrible and screams the opposite of luxury.

Huh? I thought the L shaped LED bar was the DRL for this thing?

Love the look of it though, IMO it looks much better than the prior version.

I spotted some of the new Genesis sedan with L shaped LED bar as their DRL. It was orange color LED.

Nah. Ask your friend to buy a Mclaren F1 for ya. That thing comes with a single seat in the middle.

yeah agreed. I have so much respect for what they did with that car, with putting a F1 V12 engine in it. The SOUND trumps any negative factors.

It looks like the USDM in fact does use the amber halogen light as DRL and the LED headlight surround is used for parking lights and/or when the headlights are on. I'm not a fan of that.

I like amber lights. I remember playing Tokyo Extreme Racer and with those 90's Toyotas and Nissans with the long rectangular amber tails. So damn sexy.

what happens when a self driving car run over a person?

is it the driver's fault or the car company's fault? because we all know it is never the pedestrian's fault.

I would guess the manufacturer, however the risk is so low with the exclusion of human error, the actual cost to insure against such a situation would be extremely low.

Tech toys malfunction all the time and car's electronics break down often.

How am i going to believe that a self-driving car is not going to malfunction, killing me or others?

Yeah how do we know if the cars will become sentient like Yummy's robots and start killing people on purpose?

That makes me think of the old 1986 movie Maximum Overdrive. A classic. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091499/
