This is interesting...Would you pay $221,000USD for a 1997 BMW E36 M3...?
Well, apparently, this particular M3 was tuned by JML and is one of only two Lippert 356CS models ever. 5.6-liter V12 engine inside the hood.
I certainly would not pay the asking price...but, if you're a hardcore car collector, maybe? Definitely insanity for an M3.

Heh...that's chump change compared to the $62.7M asking price for the Ferrari 250 GTO going for auction soon: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...-expensive-car
I can't even begin to imagine coughing up $1M for a car...let alone $64M. The tax on that could get you a few drop-dead ubercars.
That said, if you're spending $10M just in taxes plus the buyer fee to buy ONE car, then you've already got Poopdicks and P1s.
Life must suck to be an Altegris or BoostedJack. Suck.
lol, but if you're that rich, your money is tied up in investments. I dunno if people have even a million dollars in a bank.
I see.
Imagine having so much money where I want to by this car and i sell stock, and because i sell stock I affect that companies price and maybe even the market, all because I want a car
Ohh to have that much power.. One day

Someone may have posted the video in the video thread, but Ben Chen (dude that owns all those exotics) recently hit 246.4 mph in Idaho in his $2.8M Bugatti Veyron Pur Blanc.
That's about 11mph faster than James May did in a Bugatti in Germany. However, I think this Pur Blanc, at 1200hp, had more power than the Bugatti that May drove.
