No armrest doesn't really bother me, you can always put it on your lap or somewhere on the centre console. But holy crap, those cupholders are far back!

NY is strange with that. As long as its never been registered and its being sold by a dealer, its "new". IIRC it used to be that anything with over 100 miles on it was considered used.

I can never get into B-J Auctions, mainly due to the over inflated prices.

Can I rant about GAS QUALITY in here?
Socal definitely gets the worst gas in the states. so many people outside of california who have the same mods on my car gets better numbers more safely.

On the topic of fuel -
I wish the gov't would stop giving subsidies to farmers for ethanol in fuels It gives us less gas mileage. I really notice it when they switch to winter blend.
During the winter, I can get around 24mpg mixed. During the summer, even with the a/c running when its ~100*, I get 26-27mpg mixed.
I want ethanol free fuel damn it.

dude I want E85 in LA! I would so put it in my car to tune it. Couple gallons per tank would let me make some great power very safely with cars like mine.
too bad we can't really get them easily here in LA.
DI+VVT+TURBO+CORRRRRRN = PWR

E85 is good for power. IIRC the equivalent is ~105 octane. I drive a lot though, so its not worth it for me. My friend used to get E85 in his Suburban. It was about 50 cents less per gallon, but the gas mileage was so bad, it ended up being more expensive in the long run. If I had a dedicated weekend car, then yes, Id build the fuel system for E85 and run dual maps, one on pump and the other for E85.

Just finished watching the Aryton Senna Documentary.
I couldnt find the theatrical version so i just watched the directors cut which is three hours long.
Amazing.
For a racing driver to touch a whole nation is purely amazing. I can't think of one person in today's world other than possibly a very strong political figure that could do the same. (NK doesn't count)

I must have been living under a rock, but when the hell did the Exige S get the supercharged V6 from the Evora???
345hp, 2380lbs (about 200lbs over the old Exige). The power is nice, the weight is not. And the rear is ugly. WTF is going on at Lotus lately??

Are you seriously bitching about a street car that weighs 2380 lbs? and has 345 hp??? Those are quite good numbers, in the fat and bloated sea of modern vehicles of today. Maybe you are a purist type in terms of the Exige and that's what bugs you about it? The rear is a bit controversial I agree but I'd gladly drive this car! I think overall it's beautiful and functional.

And if you look at it another way:
That 345 crank horsepower comes from a 3.5l, DOHC, supercharged engine. The engine weighs 360lbs before the supercharger. At over 400lbs dry for just the engine alone (not including the transmission), the power to weigh figure for that engine is not impressive at all. There were better options for that car, especially when the f/r split is already 40/60.

ok. well the way you describe it, it does sound excessively fat, in terms of the engine. would have been so nice for them to throw a boosted 4 in there, eh? 345 hp from a supercharged 3.5 V6 does sound pretty weak, in this day and age.
