Damn wish I got a chance to go! Next year! But too bad the engines wont sound as good

On a happier note, I reached my first step in achieving my goal of getting a GTI in a years time! I got a job

Well obviously me buying the car will kinda of be determined by my financial situation at that time.

I'm moving to sacramento though Wonder whats up there...

I'll see how it is. I've been in socal pretty much all my life. But I'm probably going to be doing a bit of traveling anyway. Plus its a great opportunity and I also have nothing else lined up for when I graduate. That or be unemployed.

Sacramento!?

Man! You will miss LA!

I did a 1 year home stay program when I first came to the States back in 2001 at Sacramento. There's like nothing there.

But anyway, congrats on the job man. Fight on!

man

Yeah, the town I'm in is way better than Sactown but I still preferred LA, minus the traffic and all.

Thanks guys

Yea I know I'm moving away from a good location. But its not something super permanent in my mind. After a couple years I'll be trying to move back down here, either within the company or I'll find a new job haha. Hopefully the former though.

Yeah, you have to realize it's only short term. But you can learn a lot from moving away from home, and it will make you appreciate where you came from and the people in your life that much more.

Who knows, you might even like Sacramento more than Socal

Man, the SLS black is one of the most sinister cars out there. I think it may be one of my favorite cars... I just love it for some reason.

Yeah, the 6 is a BIG car. It's really a GT coupe, not a small performance coupe.

So last night, my aunt pulls up in a brand new Audi A7. Man, what a beautiful car.

I didn't get to drive it though, I have a major head cold and didn't want to touch the car

damn nice, you gotta tell us about the interior and experience riding / driving it when you get the chance -

Jaguar is doing some great things these days - what a gorgeous car. And, $100k for a Jag with 500hp that does the quarter in 12.0 @ 120 (!!!) is not too shabby IMO. I could mention this car in the same breath as Aston Martin, and look at the cost of their offerings and how much grunt you get. Compare it to the V8 Vantage roadster, that is $150k, and it does 12.9 @ 112 in the 1/4. Quick, but not QUICK like the Jag. Ok there's my dialogue about that.

Sure. But, I'd still take an Aston Martin Vantage over a Jag.

The interior of the Aston Martin is just perfect. Don't care about the slight performance improvement from the cat car.

I believe that the M6 Grand Coupe is even longer than the E63 wagon. It's huge...

$50k is $50k though. Though no one is making payments on a $100k car so they probably have enough to justify the extra money anyway.

I heard Jag is only producing a handful of these F-types to our shores.. why the huge marketing blitz? brand recognition?

112 vs 120 mph in the 1/4 is not "slight" ... the Jag will walk away from the Aston.

I know performance isn't everything with these cars, but that does stand out to me - along with the price difference -

and, I think the Jag's interior looks a lot better - the Aston's is looking dated already.

I like the Aston's interior more. It seems to flow better and doesn't look as chunky

No worries, I know it was implied

Though I must admit, pictures of the F-Type do the car no justice. It's gorgeous in person.

IMO F-type Roadster > Coupe.

But I'd still take the Aston over either.

Hmm, I really like that Jag. I think I like the interior over the AM as well...

Does it have a black headliner?

I would never say the Jag is a "better" car than the Aston - I mean class-wise, the Aston is clearly a step above. My thoughts here mainly come from a 'bang for the buck' viewpoint.

Then they must all be in LA...because they are not rare out here at all...but they are sexy as hell.
