The Infiniti G35 sedan just does not look as good as the TL-S, and never will in my eyes.

well, at the very least, they were not bashing the TL-S and the opinions seemed not so biased.

Well besides them saying the Tl-S is not a solid car like the G35, i think they were bashing it a little and saying how much faster it is, which isnt true.

The new TL will bury the G... but still it is FWD...Till we see the new Hybrid AWD sedan!... now that would rock the automotive world...
Can you say 400 HP AWD Hybrid Sedan that does 20 MPG (city)-30MPG (HW)!

It actually looks like a much more objective comparison than what i'm used to seeing over there.

I've had my G for only three months and have less than 950miles on it and the transmission is being replaced. I have more miles on the loaner car than my new G. Over two weeks and still waiting for the new transmission to arrive.
Damn, did u see that post.

That thread is a month old and they didn't really say anything bad about the TLS. I agree that the G isn't faster (maybe a tad faster) but it is a bit sportier than the TLS. I guess I don't see why we would post a link to that thread when it really isn't anything to get riled up over. I was actually surprised that they ALL said the TLS was a good car. They simply stated why they chose the G over it.

They are both nice cars, therefore they are so popular.

I don't get it. That wasn't a bad thread. They werre pretty objective with some good comparisions about each car's strengths and weaknesses. Of course they were slightly biased toward the G35 but HELLOOO, thats the G35 forum.

They seem to be nice people there... I mean what do we expect from a G35 community... I'm sure if this guy goes to the TLS site, he will get some crap about G35 too...

most of the people on freshalloy.com and G35driver.com are really nice just like the ppl here =) but there are still some idiots like a while back someone said he smoked a CLS with7 car length up to 100MPH with his G35C auto....

I think 95% of what they said is true... G35Sedan and TLS are basically identical in terms of speed.... G35Sedan handles better because it s RWD but TLS has better interior
BUT honestly, Both TLS and CLS just DONT have the "SOLID BUILT" quality......the RL and RSX or Maybe TSX have better built quality than CLS and TLS..

Those posts aren't really bad at all. Most people over there have respect for the TL/CL and while they went with the G, they still point out the faults of BOTH cars.

yeah, something about the rear end just turns me off about it. The coupe is much better looking.

Actually got a loaner G35 sedan today (my sister's 5 day old I35 needed the rotors cut !) I took it out and drove it pretty hard especially at corners, ramps, etc. It handled well but certainly not tremendously better than my CL. Power is close and the delivery of it is very similar to that of the CL/TL.

The interior of the car was not luxurious. Disliked that fake metallic trim. Pretty cheap looking interior once I got over the initial "unfamiliarity" with it.

All in all, it is very comparable to the TL/CL. Certainly competitor to one another.
