I should have checked this thread after we spoke yesterday. It was wrong to post photos since it singled you out and added nothing to the topic. However I still feel the same way about pushing the "hellaflush" thing as far as you can. I suppose it's human nature to do so. See what the limits are.

On the other hand, you're going to get critisized for just about anything you do. I work in an industry where my work gets critisized all the time. Some people are extremely mean. It's part of life. Maybe I'm just too accustomed to it?

some people are just little girls. nothing wrong with having an opinion. some people dont grasp that concept. its always "bashing" or "hating" when somebody doesnt agree with what they view as attractive.

my cars (all of them) were critisized constantly by people who were not car enthusiast (and still are). whether it be family/friends/strangers...

who gives a shit.. dry it up crybaby

the only problem i have with opinions are when people catergorize ME as a person b/c of the way my car looks. i couldnt give a shit less if they like the car..

I'm just gonna post up my ride. Don't hate though, just because you can't appreciate the work that went into it don't mean you gotta be sippin that haterade.

Oh I've been there. Several years ago when I did my first swap, I posted a picture of myself on a local board where I was flexing my bicep (or lack there of) next to my car. I caught all kinds of shit and someone even photoshopped the pic. I learned to just laugh it off. If you take it seriously, people are just going to make it worse. If you brush it off, no one can get the satisfaction of making you mad.

I don't know why I'm giving out advice on how to handle critisism. I thought that was something you learned when growing up.

Let me know when you're going. Ill take the ride up there as well. Maybe he can give me a hand with the rear mount. I had flashbacks to the first time I did it today and didnt want to go through that hell again.

And Im glad you're going with the RDX injectors.

Agreed.

A little bit of poke/stretch is ok, imo. Even a bit of the VIP isn't too bad.

But the super-extreme camber is just dumb. Only thing worse is that fucking stupid rust look. If I wanted my car to look like it just came out of the junkyard, I'd buy my car there to begin with.

That & the poser-ass bike rack and silly stickers needs to go. I will never understand the fascination of people wanting to make their cars look like broken down beaters.

I have to lol at the people who get upset over negative comments. As if they've never had a bad thing to say about a movie or product. That film crew or engineer worked hard on that project too. Learn to deal with it like everyone else.

If I find some entertainment value in a hammered Civic that looks like it's squatting to take a shit, I'll post it the appropriate forum on the site I most frequently visit. The Off Topic section is the place for people to dump their garbage.

When I upload photos or post a comment, I know full well that not everyone is going to like it. I could get bashed for it. Big deal. I'll get over it. You need to learn to do the same or get off the internet. Maybe it's not the place for you.

This thread is great. I don't like more than 5 degrees of negative camber I think it looks silly, same with stretched tires. I realize some people want there cars to look good but show only cars really don't do anything for me.

I run -2.5 camber on my autocross car. Negative camber does have a functional purpose.

VWs have been stretching and poking out their tires for years. And rusting up their hoods and other parts of the car. I personally like it, but I can see how not everyone can appreciated the work that goes into that.

Yea, some negative camber has a functional purpose. But Im pretty sure most of these cars dont see the track, or even a spirited drive as theyre too busy dodging pot holes.

And if any of them try saying they have the negative camber for handling, the stretched tire completely negates that.

I also don't like hard parkers. If you aren't going to track your car why build it to be a track car?

Ridiculous Camber

I know this is a new trend in some markets, but this one is just ridiculous.
