The Germans said that the crash test safety ratings were "catastrophic" and that it didn't pass minimum requirements and shouldn't be sold in Europe.

it says "Landwind" on the front plate..

and those are the most horrible crash test pics i have ever seen. talk about cheap material...

BTW, those crash pics of the Landwind looks almost identical to the '96 Rodeo the IIHS tested...







But the '02 Rodeo did better...







So it looks like they used the old '96 Rodeo chassis for the Landwind.

But to be fair to Toyota, that was how long ago? We're talking about cars in China right now that's faring similarly to cars in the US 10+ years ago.
