Went out to Motorsport Ranch today along with quite a few other AZine members to support Trancemission as he took the race car out for its first shakedown. Several hours later, the class clown had pretty much gotten the Elise nailed down & was pushing his way through the field rather well.

During this time, I once again was out at the fence & pit wall snapping away. Unfortunately, I have probably discarded around 80% of my photos & realizing that I need another camera/lense badly. Thus, below are around 30 shots I thought were good enough to be posted here. There's nothing too special here, so I mostly just played around with a lot of post processing effects.

I gotta say though, that mustang with the red grille surround, red roof, red rims, red mirrors, looks a bit tacky. Just not my personal taste.

Blue GT3RS

Does the white GT3 (picture #11 from the top) have some sort of vinyl over it? I thought my computer screen was messed up but then I noticed the whole car has black dots all over it.

 

I don't doubt the performance of the car. In stock form, they look mean and the performance backs it up. Just commenting on what I thought of the look of that particular stang.

 

Im with you man...Every single paint option for the Leguna Seca's look tacky, they could have done better.

 

Yep. It's just a white vinyl with lots of holes in it as the car is black underneath.


What surprises me is that for $79,000, the wrap is far, far from perfect quality. Though I imagine it being a track car, then it probably didn't matter.

Wait, hold on a second. Are you saying someone spent $79k to wrap a car? I hope I read that wrong. I thought the GT-R kid was an idiot for spending $3.8k on his wrap.

The car as whole, is being sold for $79,000. However, I found it odd such an expensive car would have such an unprofessional looking wrap added onto it.
