I took drivers ed but didn't show the court proof of it by the date they set. What can I do? They want me in court in a few weeks.

show proof to dmv and still show it in court...whether its not the date they set by them seeing you took it still should be ok...but i dunno how the do in TX...

 

I got the certificate just didn't submit it in time, now they want me to show up in court
"to show cause why the evidence of the successful completion of a driving safety course was not timely submitted to the court"

 

99% of the time in a situation like this, a phone call to the DA's office will clear things up.

yea call the DMV office or superior court about it. My bro was able to get an extension for taking driver's ed for like an extra month. I'm pretty sure you'll work through this thing...as long as you have the date and proof of completion on paper

 

im not gonna end up in jail....
