Does Lincoln's future headlight design look familiar?

Is It me? Or does Lincoln look like they trying to copy Acura's jewel eye headlight design?

Not like it matters. No ilx/tlx/mdx owner is buying a Lincoln anytime in our lifetime

Every body and their grandma copied Audi drl...

That's intentional; it is the Lincoln logo in there.

Here's a few more:

- trucks and SUV's copied Acura by also offering superior ground clearance
- VW, Audi, Porsche, etc. copied Acura by offering a DCT trans
- Subaru, Audi, etc copied Acura by offering AWD
- BMW, MB, Audi, Lexus, Bentley, etc copied Acura by trying to be a luxury brand

I think the jewel design is a fairly standard LED design in general. When I first started seeing the MDX's with it I thought it was an Audi from far away. Again, seems to be a pretty standard design for the technology. The little Lincoln logos are pretty cool though...

I have to say that the thing which annoys me the most is how we started seeing all these high performance sports cars and supercars after Acura introduced the original supercar, the NSX, back in the late '80s.

Everyone jumped on the supercar bandwagon right after and we started getting all these new fly by night copycat wannabe supercar companies like Gumpert, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren,....

We all know none of them can hold a candle to the original NSX. Even after all these years, it's still the fastest because "Honda horsepower are much more than other company horsepower. NSX will easily compete with cars having 1000bhp" while providing best in class MPG too. With all these other supercars, "you cant drive that far from gas station. Only NSX provide all round performance with total airflow management."

All these wannabe supercars are so "uncomfortable, noisy ride and very unreliable for use." They don't even have the same "utlra performance in rain, snow and up and down street of SF."

You are really funny.
You know when the NSX starts moving, it isn't actually moving. The earth starts rotating in the opposite direction.

Honda copied the jewel eyes on the new 2016 Accord...oh wait. Nothing like stealing one of the few things that separates your luxury division!

Being the superior car that it is, it can be anything you want it to be.

Most just call it a unicorn though.

When I think of Acura, failure comes to mind.

Also, that picture reminds me of most of us waiting for Acura to get their shit together.

Acura set the standard by which all luxury is measured.

Look up "luxury" in the dictionary and you'll see Acura.
