No, not going to bother. The EX-L is more $$ than we want to spend and the other is light blue so forget it. No rush, still plenty of time until April. To hectic now with X-Mas around the corner anyway.

Maybe after Christmas. I will be on vacation after Christmas if you want to go car shopping, I think I may be able to swing a trip up to Toronto. I can bring the family you havent seen for awhile.

No, I'd like to drag this out a few more months.

But seriously I have no idea what I should buy or when or even if I should buy. I'm very confused.

As it stands right now, I'm not buying til April at the earliest if at all. So we can stop replying to this thread......until then.

I wish I had the selection you did. You can choose the HR-V and a deisel CR-V. Plus you guys get the Fit/Jazz right?

Why can you see who voted for what before you vote, but not afterwards?

Correct. Before you vote, you can click on show poll results and it tells you what voted for what. After you vote, it just shows the percentage, but not who voted.

always been like that on all polls. I though maybe it was not to influence your vote, but then it would be the other way around.

I thought after you voted, your choice from the poll list has your vote in italics.

Maybe I am wrong. I am checking a few things. (damn, I vote on too many things on the Internet).

edit: Checked. I can't do it now, but I could have sworn that at some time, you could click someing in a link after you see the results that broke down each vote. Never you mind...

I think that is an option if the poll is designated as a public poll.

EDIT: Like the poll in this thread, when you click on the number of votes.

**UPDATE**

Ended up buying a Buick Rendezvous this morning. Its a Silver 2003 with 31,900km's (19,937 miles). Their asking price was $23,900 + tax and $275 admin. I ended up paying $23,500 on the road. Taxes in Ontario are 15% so I bought the car for $20,435, so $3465 less than what they were originally asking. End of month really helped.

Its a CX FWD with Pwr everything, Side airbags, ABS, half leather seats and traction control. The interior isn't half bad and alot better than most GM's I've seen and there's a ton of space. But most importantly the wife really liked it. Should be getting it next week.

Happy New Year !!

No but I'll start looking into getting an aftermarket one soon. Should be about a year or so before I'll need it.

As for the CR-V. I went to see another one yesterday. It was a dark blue 2003 LX with 20,000km's. He was asking $23,900. I offered $25,000 on the road and he came back at $26,400 and would not drop from there. He said "you know what they're going for" and he knew he'd get what he was asking. No way I was paying $26K for a LX considering they were about 30K brand new.
