Exclamation CTS-V Auto 0-60 in 3.9s

I have a feeling Bob has been holding out on us...

Besides, the CTS-V is one of my favorite sedan designs. Now if the coupe would just hit the market already.

Indeed, this car is BAD ASSED.

Now I have to move this from RL to Car talk.

I'm planning to go to a local dyno day tomorrow. Let's see how much actually gets to the wheels...

This belongs in the RL thread.

I didn't post it up for it to get moved to car talk, cause nobody knows Bob there or cares for the CTS-V.

Then stop posting. What part of a Cadillac thread has any place in an RL forum?

No one cares about the CTS-V? Have you read Bob's thread?

He only has a 7 page thread dedicated to him and his CTS-V.

if he didn't want the attention of the RLers he would have moved the thread 2 minutes after it was posted...

anyway, I'm gonna drop it now.

The CTS-V is a sports sedan done completely right. Great looks, proper drivetrain and enough room for the wife and kids...

The CTS-V is an awesome car, even better to look at in person. I just hope I can take a ride in one sometime in the future, my friend who works at a GM dealership just keepss talking about how much it hauls ass, even compared to the corvette.

Bob, your new car is a piece of crap, it sucks, you made a huge mistake . . . . . now cause I like you so much and all, I am willing to give you my RL. You won't even notice the difference, it would be like you never ever made that horrible mistake that day, when you traded in your " sleeping beauty " . . . . . . . what do you say?

No, Bob and I both bought our RL's at about the same time, they are almost identical though.

I saw a Dark Cherry CTS-V today ... I need to sit in one to see what the interior looks like but wow, I wouldn't mind stepping up to a used CTS-V when I get my S4 paid off.

Buy American? Eek!

Um, Bob has been kicking our collective asses in Car Talk over his CTS-V. WE love it, and wish he's sell it to one of us for pennies on the dollar

He knows where to go with pictures that make men

I'll get one once I grow up.

I was nervous about buying American, too, but so far, so good.

As far as the interior, the only problems I've had are that a) when you push on the center console where the analog clock it, it squeaks (no rattles as yet) and b) the moonroof occasionally creaks. Then again, the moonroof in my RL creaked too...was easily fixed with silicone cream.

1300 miles, 30 days, and loving the car. Torque, I now know thy name!

I was driving along minding my business when the CTS-V I mentioned earlier pulled alongside me and paced me for no reason. I look over, figuring, "Oh, okay, so someone in their CTS-V wants to stomp me with their extra 200hp" and it was a couple in their late 50s/early 60s ... I still can't figure out what he was doing. There wasn't any reason for it.

Yeah I have an Audi S4 but still, what am I going to do, race him with his wife in the car?

Not that I would anyway. I think street racing is asinine. But it was odd behavior.
