Like the blacked out lights, I'd just delete the model designation entirely. Everyone knows what it is already lol. I'd also see if you can get the PORSCHE on the back in silver or something like that.
Sorry to hear that. ADMs continue to be a trend for dealerships for all cars, but especially 911s Here is hoping your dealership keeps their word to you
The cargo ship Felicity Ace, loaded with thousands of VW Group vehicles, continues to burn over a thousand miles off the coast of Portugal in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean following a successful rescue effort yesterday captained by the Portuguese Navy that saw its crew of 22 safely abandon ship. Now adrift without a crew, the car carrier is fast becoming a smoking graveyard as the shipping line that operates it and other parties start to consider salvage operations. And it's going to be an expensive time. In addition to the Porsche and VW vehicles we confirmed were on board yesterday, we can now report that 189 Bentleys and an unspecified number of Audis—likely in the hundreds—are also on the Felicity Ace.
4k vehicles on board, 1100 Porsches 189 Bentleys 21 Lamborghinis & lots of VW/Audi
I can't imagine getting that notification from the dealer/mfg.
"Sorry, your car's on fire/at the bottom of the Atlantic. We'll try to get you another allocation, but it'll be a MY24"
Once you get a car allocation and it's being assembled, you can use Porsche's Track Your Dream app to see its progress, that's how people know which ship their car is on and how they learn it is destroyed en route. Whatta bitch!
Just to rub a minute amount of salt.
Friend of my dad's picked up a clean 997 for $10k
He runs a speed shop, lady brought the car in, late husband's that she wanted repaired to sell.
Needed multiple thousands in repairs, she sold it to him for $10k.
One of his techs did the IMS & it's a great car.
But a steal for $10k, especially if you own/run a performance shop that can maintain it. And, have the personal VAG experience to do a lot of it yourself.
IIRC, it's a 2012, either a base or S. Haven't seen it in person.

Okay, after a lot of waffling back and forth, I've ditched the 14 way seats in favor of the Sports Plus 4 ways, added the Fuchs style wheels, premium package and lightweight and noise insulating glass.
