I’ll have to because the C2T won’t be available anymore. It’s typically only offered for the last couple model years to help juice sales.

 

Ya gotta quit calling it a C2T dude, absolutely no one does but you. You've got your order/deposit in right?

 

Plenty of people on Rennlist refer to it as the C2T, as does my sales advisor.

 

I never checked the option box for wheels a different color on the T until I was building one for a fellow Rennlister. I discovered the black wheels in a no-cost option vs. the agate grey they come standard in have a colored Porsche center cap vs. monochromatic on the latter version. I like the colored crest better and black wheels are certainly fine. Thoughts?

 

I like the Colored center cap and the lighter colored wheels. Not a fan of plain black wheels.

 

That's not an option. With Titanium Grey wheels it's automatically monochromatic crest, black wheels get the colored crest.

 

It's pretty amazing-at least 20 people I am on Rennlist and 992Forum have gotten a T allocation in the last week.

 

Then I'd go with the lighter colored wheels.

The center caps are easily changed out except the color of the cap around the crest if replaced won't match the Titanium Grey wheels, black, silver, brushed silver, being the only choices. A guy on Rennlist had a mismatched set of center caps on these exact same wheels and it looked like ass. He got humiliated by fellow Board members . . . .

 

I prefer the lighter color wheels.

 

I'll keep the lighter wheels, they're special edition and match the paint on the mirrors, the decal, and the 911 on the back

I've reached Step 2 of 4! I wish Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta wasn't so difficult for NYers (long story) otherwise I"d take delivery there.

Yes, April 7th is the tentative date barring any unforeseen problems (transit shipping to port, cargo ship not being full on date of intended departure, etc.)

That's an amazing blue.

 

"Gentian Blue" looks nice but has too much purple in it under bright sun. I saw one in Sarasota last summer.

How long do these take to build?

 

So, about 6 weeks-2 months from start to delivery?

 

I jumped the gun-production start date is 3/3, delivery is 4/7 so for me 5 weeks beginning to end. Being in Buffalo vs. LA shortens that period substantially as otherwise, the ship has to go through the Panama Canal then up the Western Seaboard which seems to take an additional 4 weeks from what I can tell.
