Carfax question

Hey guys,

I'm looking at a car online and saw the Carfax. The car looked good, however, the only thing that raised an eyebrow was an entry that read "Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed/PCM reprogrammed". I know it could mean a flashing or update, but is there any chance that this car could be a potential lemon with a faulty ECU that results in issues down the road? I did only see it mentioned on there once but I've also seen plenty of cars (obviously) that did not have that type of repair entry. Let me know what you think. Thanks again.

You have the CarFax. The CarFax has the VIN. The CarFax should have the service center that performed the work. Call the service center, explain what you're up to and ask them. It'll only cost you a phone call.
