I've run across a 6speed tranny. On the tranny is what looks like to be a vin number tag. Does anyone know if that number is the vin to the car it came off? It seems to be.

You carfax wizards, if anyone can look up this number, i'd help me figure a little about that tranny.

any of you acura techs, any chance of you running that number to see if that tranny is a replacement under warranty, and if so, what was the problem.
