Yeah that was all over the news yesterday. It happens a lot down here. Car vs car, car vs bike, car vs train, take your pick.

 

The guy in the corolla got owned... you would have thought it would have been the other way around...

 

This happened in Fayetteville NC a few years back, 'cept it was motorcycle vs. SUV.

Cycle t-boned (the passenger side of the SUV) "at a high rate of speed." Threw the driver of the SUV out the PASSENGER side window.

BTW....both = dead

 

Street racing that caused another death ... I guess the "bike" won but not the driver of the bike, even if he lives.

 

perhaps he's saying because the driver of the car died and the biker didn't

Police Thursday evening identified the driver of the Honda motorcycle as Robert Collins, 24, of Okeechobee. The driver of the white 2005 Toyota Corolla who was killed was Michel Mouly, 64, of Fort Lauderdale. Police said Collins' motorcycle crashed into Mouly's car killing him

 

Now how the hell can a 600pounds flip the 2k pounds car...

 

600 pounds going 75 (just a guess if racing) mph = lots of force hitting the car.

 

Hmm, just sat on a R6-S damn near convinced me to get a motorcycle license. Reading stuff like this consistently keeps me from doing it.

 

A sportbike anywhere can be a danger to yourself if your not careful, but it's really hard to judge the speed of a bike coming at you sometimes. You crack the throttle in traffic on an R6 your going 25mph to 80mph in seconds. Even on the bike at 55mph it feels like your barely moving, so you always go a little faster.

 

Yes i was going get my Bike driver lic.. but i didnt cuz of this kind of shit..

A person today on I-195 in Jackson while i was jammin to Marvin Gaye . It had a type-s badge on it too-do they even make a type-s corolla?

 

Umm, I think you guys are misreading it. The bike was racing an STI. The Toyota was a innocent bystander.
