Selling a car out of state?

Selling a car out of state?

Hey everyone,
I may be selling my '93 g20 to someone out of state (i live in jersey). I don't want to leave the plates on the car, so how will the buyer drive the car back home without any plates? will they get pulled over every 20 minutes? can they tape the title in the window instead? what can they do? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As long as they have the bill of sale in the car, they should be fine.

Do NOT keep your plates on the car no matter what though.
