Car vs 747 video

I'm not sure if this was posted before, but it looks to be a video from a Top Gear episode. They run a few cars behind a 747 at full thrust. Pretty cool result!!

that is quite beastly. I wish I could punch a car with that much force.

I completely disagree. I sometimes don't get these rules about what forum a post like this belongs.

Even though this involves Top Gear, the video is not about cars. They were just used to demonstrate the power of a commercial aircraft's engines. I stand firm that this belongs in Off Topic as there are many aircraft related posts there.

But since I'm not a Moderator, I guess you're the boss.

HA! That is hilarious...

"After 20 seconds at full thrust, the force can rip up the asphalt...that would not be good."

Those barriers at the end of runways must save motorists lots of headaches

I'm a pilot too. My instructor always said "keep her on the centerline" hahaha

That was pretty impressive though. I'm surprised they didnt' leave more room on the runway in case of an abort or an engine failure or something. I think they cut that one kind of close. But impressice nonetheless.

They tried it, but Top Gear got it right...I think it was a smaller plane the MythBusters used...
