Car Town on Facebook
So who's playing CarTown on Facebook???? (http://apps.facebook.com/cartown)
I didn't know this game existed until I saw a couple guys posting pics of these Cartoonized cars on their Facebook walls and figured out that it was a game and I was immeidately hooked!
Anyway, here's an album of some of the cars in my CarTown Garage ....

There are so many cars though, why limit yourself to just Honda/Acura? They add cars quite often as well.

I used to play it like everyday. Then I went on vacation and got out of the routine of starting jobs before and after I got home from work and haven't touched it since.

As a casual game it is perfect. I set it to do something, and come back to it later. While I'm watching TV I have it do some of the faster jobs so that I can earn credits faster.
I guess I enjoy it a lot because I want to buy the same cars over and over again and modify them differently, or at least that's my plan but I need to get at least 1 of everything before I can move on to doing that before the cars expire.

I play it, but the game's currency system is broken. New cars are added but require the blue coins which you won't make near enough to buy any of them forcing you to pay real cash.
I thought they learned their lesson when they set all the original cars to be purchased with gold or blue coins, but guess not.

Personally, I have no problem buying credits whether it's for this game or another. It's no different than having to buy the game for my XBOX, but at least this one has a free version that doesn't require me to dish out cash to play, how many xbox games do that other than the very very limited trial games in the arcade. Also, think of it this way, at least they are continuing to make improvements and additions to the game on an ongoing basis; whereas most other games get old and boring after you've beat it or a new version comes out. Games of this style, while most get bored of, are refreshed very often with new features.

I have no problem with spending real world currency. But, have you looked at what you have to pay? $5 on the Xbox can get you new maps, cars, guns, etc., stuff to keep going for hours.
The cars in this game require at least $10 worth of blue coins for just 1-2, 3 if you're lucky. Then you have cars in this game that require $40+ goddamn dollars. Only the world's biggest idiot will spend that for 1 car in this game instead of, I don't know, buying an actual, full game.
And that's how it was until recently.
Now, they're deploying these tactics where they'll release cars, & then they'll take them away a month later. The Charger was added not long ago, but they've decided to remove it, meaning, spend $169,000 in-game, or hit up your credit card.
It's ridiculous.

この道は毛むくじゃらのマンコだらけ..
I helped get SSR on board for those wheel customizations you see there.
I got bored of it... don't really play much anymore now. I'll stop in to race ocasionally, but mainly I just play it once a day.

It's not a game that you have to sit at for hours at any given point in time to play. It's one of those games where you set something to be done, come back to it hours (if not days later) and do the same thing.

Haven't updated it in a while, but here's some of the cars I have in my garage. I think I'm a level 50 right now, I don't remember.
