Car jacking question
This is probably a stupid question but I figured I would ask. I need to change the tranny fluid on my moms TL. It is recommended to be fully jacked up and flat, ie 4 jack stands. I only have 2 jack stands a a set of rhino ramps. My question is would it be safe to drive the front up on the ramps, then jack up the back and put the stands under there? Is that safe at all?
For a second there, I thought you had a question about 1.) How to properly car jack someone, or 2.) What to do in the event of a carjacking...my mistake!
You should use ramps on all as car jacks can be knocked out from under the car much easier than stands.

I wouldn't. I assume the car needs to be level in order for the fluid to drain correctly. If you do not have four stands to raise the car properly, It would be best to have the front wheels on the ramps and forgo any minute fluid that may still be in the pan as a result of the car not being level. Being a FWD car and the location of the drain plug, this may not be that big of an issue. In order to jack the rear of the car up while the fronts are on the ramps, the car will need to be raised high enough to INCLUDE the height of the ramps. Very unsafe, and if you are using the jack supplied with the car it most likely won't travel that high to begin with.
If you do decide to use the method of having only the front wheels on the ramp, refill the transmission with ONLY enough fluid (slightly less than what you removed) to drive it back off the ramps and then check the fluid level. Remember you will still have a small amount of the old fluid in the pan, and the car should be level to have an accurate reading on the dipstick.
