Still looks too much like an accord. Honda designers need to be a bit more radical with their designs between vehicles.

Of course I guess if your an "Accord lover" you can just pick you flavor of Accord,

Accord, TSX, CL, TL, new TL

Looks good for a revamped accord/tsx. I'll wait until they release some perforance numbers/specs.

Not too jazzed about the '04 TL. I think the '03 CLS 6sp is one of Acura's best looking/performing models they've released to date. It's a shame that this is most likely its last year.

Wow, that's horrible. Looks older than the current TL, instead of looking newer.

And that rear is just too plain and ugly. Looks like a mix of a current civic and an older gen Accord. Not to mention the front, which looks exactly like the TSX.

And I'm sure the production model will have Goodyear Eagle F1's, drilled rotors, and Brembo calipers...

Funny thing.....i don't here anybody complain about the similarity of body designs when EVERY OTHER FRIGGIN MANUFACTURER DOES IT!!!!! BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES!!!! Gimmie a break.....

 

That's because every other manufacturer's similar body designs at least look good.

Not really true... However some things remain similar. Bmw keeps the kidney grills. Mercedes has the grill.

But their cars do not all look alike man...

Sorry to excite you, but Honda needs designers with some balls.

If you park the Accord, TL, CL,TSX, new TL all next to one another it's kinda boring... Mercedes does not have that many look alike cars. Nor does BMW.

I don't know...I think Mercedes Cars look alot alike with each other...I know many people around here at work get the C class and E class cars mixed up now because the fronts are kinda similar...? Sure, the SL500 stands out...but, you could say that the Acura NSX stands out too, right?

I think Honda cars are in general conservatively designed...it may be bland to some, but it is generally more acceptable. I also notice that cars that are shared across a manufacturer (as a "template") like the Accord do tend to have "blander" designs. I mean, look at the Toyoto Camry and then the Lexus ES. Or, the Volkswagen Passat and Audi A4 (Sorry folks, I think they look similar and are kinda "boring" too).

So, really, you only have Mercedes and BMW when it comes to looks, but there's also a price hike when it comes to buying them too...

You all fuckin complain way too much, i do not see ANY simularity between the TL and the new accord..........if it really pissed you off that much, you wouldn't drive a CL now would you. I think the car looks pretty bad ass, dont be jealous because Acura is making a car that looks better than our car, and probably better in every category.

I wouldn't be surprised if this car comes out and it gets rave reviews from magazines and owners and these same people on this board who complained about it before, now join the bandwagon and realize, its a nice car.
